Cave Creek is a great course for people not looking to break the bank or even find a last minute tee time. They do get busy, however I think with the dozens of courses in the area, this one takes a back seat. They take care of it pretty well, especially the fairways and greens. Price was phenomenal for what we got, even the clubhouse prices were good. Would play again.

Rough around the edges, cart paths etc but if you can ignore that it is a fun, fair course at great value

I was not expecting much for the price but was so pleasantly surprised to see how nice it was! Really enjoyed the track of this course and the range of elevation on some holes. Cart paths need a little work but the fairways and greens were in good shape.

Lots of walking between holes. Construction going on everywhere due to rain and other but not good signage to tell you if you were going the right way or in the right place. Lots of garbage in valleys alongside the rough. Ball washer water smelled like sewer. Three staff inside visiting and were told we had to go out and chase down ash cart.

The course was in good shape and the reduced fees for playing afternoon made it very reasonable. we made it through 16 before the not so subtle transition from twilight to darkness occurred. Fairways were in great condition, Greens were a little fast with some challenging breaks. the only let down was the bunker conditions, they were hard packed.

Do not go by the pictures listed , this place is seems like your playing on a landfill . Your money will be better spent on the $12 courses in Sun City.

On the second hole it started to rain and blow. It was in the low 50s so once we were wet it was very cold and miserable, the rain was getting worse, and the radar showed it wouldn’t clear for at least two hours. After 6 holes, I asked the clubhouse if I could have a rain check and I would come back Saturday. Denied! Six holes, freezing cold rain and miserable conditions, no rain check. $75 gone.

Will never play there again and I have already told two friends never to go there.

The course is in decent conditions with some greens having some scars from poor treatment along with some tee boxes that are left a little long. Big issue was with taking flagsticks out before sundown, but the pace of play and people were nice. A decent course all-in-all.

The course was in rough shape due to construction and rainfall. This is understandable at times, however the signage on where the next tees was very poor and left you guessing. Long walks between holes and a noticeable amount of garbage in the ditches along the edges of the course. Three staff sitting inside visiting while we were told we have to hunt down a walking cart and ask where the scorecards were kept. This place needs a do over. The water in the ball washers smelled like sewer.

Tee boxes, fairways and greens very good. Rough hasn’t grown in. Cart paths and tee boxes improved since last played last year.

Excellent greens, good fairways. Excellent value, especially for winter golf.
