About
The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

This course is so green right now. It's in excellent shape. We got a great deal on the Golf Now app. Will be back to play again.

What a great place to play golf, enjoy the views and course . The staff is great.
Winter rates
I have played city courses for many years. Encanto is is friendly golf course. What l will say is that all of the Arizonans carry all of the city course in the heat of summer and l feel we should get a price break year round not just in the summer.
Flyin Solo
Snuck in a round mid-week with a great rate but ended up being a single between two foursomes.
Kept pace with little waiting but curious how this happens.
Course is in fabulous shape.
Awesome conditions
This course is in excellent shape. The greens are in perfect condition. Everywhere was so green. Will definitely play this course again.
Best Greens Around
Encanto GC made the transition from overseeding well. Tee boxes could use some TLC, as most were uneven and with sparse grass. Fairways were fair-to-good. Sand traps could use some extra raking to break up the surface tension. Rough was thick and tall. Greens most-definitely were the crowning touch: smooth, rolled true and fast, making it a joy to putt. Pace of play was a bit slow (4:15), with numerous times of waiting. Value was very good, with a Hot Deal tee time.
Encanto no longer priced as a muni
Encanto 18 used to be an affordable golf course for anyone to play regardless of skill level. No frills, nothing fancy, just a nice long and flat muni. While the course has stayed the same, its pricing has not. As one of the few courses truly located in central Phoenix, demand for its services is up and that is reflected in its cost. Summer rates were over $40 to ride and in “winter” those rates are another $20 over that. There are many cheaper and more picturesque courses you can play in the Phoenix area if you’re willing to drive. And drive I will because Encanto just isn’t worth the price of admission any more.
