The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

I enjoy playing this course cause it’s more wide open than what I am used to here in the Phoenix metro area. I will play here again as it is a nice course for the money.

Decent muni west of downtown Phoenix.
Very flat and walkable. Some trees for shade.

Good value. Great condition
Good value. Greens in great condition. Bunker sand was evenly distributed and consistent. Fairways were good but not great...too dried out.
T-boxes are really close to greens. Course layout led to backups on back 9.
No GPS on carts.
Overall a good experience.

Enjoyed playing this course which was nicely maintained. Fairways and greens were in good condition. My only mention was that the ladies tees were the same as senior men so very difficult to make par unless you hit monster long drives. Easy to walk the course.

Nice course at a reasonable price.
The course was great. We’d definitely like to golf it again! The price of golf has gone up a lot this year. It was nice finding a decent price plus an early afternoon time available to get in 18 holes before dark. Best value we’ve come across while visiting the Phoenix, Scottsdale, Mesa area the past couple weeks.

This municipal course is very well kept and has a nice mix of holes that is well planned and challenging.

Quick round
Enjoyable round on a Sunday morning. Course in above average conditions. A little casual water in spots. Less than a 4 hour round. Priceless in today's world of 5 hour rounds!!! Will play here again.

For the price this place is awesome. Green’s were good, traps were better than good. Under 4 hour pace. Had a blast out there with 3 other strangers. Will be back they’re doing it right out there.

Solid track
A lot of bang for the buck. Nice course. Greens in good shape. Pretty scenery and cool views of Phoenix high rises.
Good driving range and practice facilities. Beverage cart showed up often.

They could sure use a Ranger on this course. We had some kids ahead of us (good to see young people playing) who knew nothing of the etiquette of golf. We finished in the dark.

Challenging Greens
Good course for the money, fairways are green and the greens are challenging, a few greens have steep slopes resulting in missed puts rolling off the green.
