The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

Encanto 18
Course is a city of Phoenix course, and was in good overall condition. Pace of play was good and we were paired with two singles. Greens were very fast and overall in good condition. Few greens had some ruff spots and they had been seeded. Traps had plenty of sand, but rakes still not available due to the virus.

Conditions
The course was in fairly good condition. A bit hard but my first shot to the green from a bunker actually backed up. Could use some water.

Great value.
My first time playing. Joined a great threesome who were at least 10 strokes better than me yet the course was accommodating for us all. We were all impressed with the condition and speed of the greens. Coming from the NW, the wide fairways NOT being tightly tree lined was a treat yet the length of the yardage still made for a good challenge.

Home away from home
I have played here 4 times in last month. I am used to paying twice as much for lesser courses. Fairways are in decent shape. Greens are fast and roll true. Beverage cart girl is the best. I am playing again on Thursday. Good value. I drive 50 minutes to get there.

Exactly what you expect
Fairly wide open municipal course, but its length gives it some challenge. Nothing fancy, but couldn't beat the price compared to most courses being around $100 or higher this time of year. I would recommend for sure
