About
The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

Great shape
The course is in AMAZING shape. Totally worth the 1 hour drive for me. I would recommend everyone to go play Encanto. Kudos to the staff for bringing this course back to life!!!

WOW
I learned to play golf at Encanto and wow. This course has come around in a great way. The greens were PERFECT!!! Tee boxes were the best I have ever seen. I didn’t land in a bunker, but I wouldn’t have mind at all since they were recently renovated and filled with actual sand. I live far away so I stopped playing Encanto due to the drive, but I will be coming back regularly

Great Improvements
Say what you want about Encanto but I have always enjoyed playing there.
They are doing some cosmetic work and it's turning out very nicely. Bare spots are being roped off and grass is taking root.
It looks much cleaner and well kept than past years, specially during our summer months.
If you haven't been there lately, do yourself a favor and go check it out.
Grees recovering nicely from the aerification.

Nice city course
Haven’t been there in awhile, but wow, all the new changes in the club house are awesome. What a nice new after golf hang out.. Thanks for the updates

Like an old buddy
Encanto is what it is. It is flat, it isn’t very long, and there isn’t a ton of imagination going on here. Staff is very friendly, course is in very good shape and will be better when the greens recover from being punched, and the pace is good in spite of a lot of players being on the course. It’s like an old friend and if that is what you are looking for, here it is.

Good Value
Not an above average challenge. Not many water hazards. Good bunker placement. You get what you pay for and at $35 for July in AZ, with. 7am tee time, a good value.

Rough conditions
The condition of the course was not great. I understand that every course has to airify their greens and fairways but it’d be nice to know before booking a round. It also took my threesome over 2 and a half hours to finish the front 9.

Fun golf
This course is always fun. Open fairways and some good bunker placements. The greens are pretty quick right now for a municipal course but still made it fun.
