About
The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

Encanto 18
Really liked the course - greens seemed a little bumpy on the rolls - hard to get a true line, but not horrific. Fairways in great shape, ,traps were kind of ok. Pace was pretty slow. really enjoyed the course - so beautiful with all the palm trees. really liked how long the course played!

Good old Encanto!
I walked Encanto, got paired with a very nice gentleman (fellow retired guy:-) and pretty darned good golfer! Encanto was just reopening Tues after reseeding and was in terrific shape, was pleasantly surprised! We teed off at 10:08 and were done by 1:15. I'm sure it plays slower normally, but we were lucky and hit a open section on the tee-sheet. Have played this course 1-2 times a year since high school and I will go enjoy it again!

Great value during AZ high season
We played as a three ball probably 7-10 days after over-seeding re-opening. Fairways in excellent shape but greens still very slow. 2 walkers and one rider played in 3 1/2 hours. Starter allowed us to go out half an hour earlier than our scheduled tee-time which was very accommodating.

First time I have played here in 30 years. Course was in good shape for this time of year, fairways mostly green grass. Sand traps were a bit hard but playable. I wish rakes were back out to rake the traps. Greens were in the fall transition but pretty smooth Good value for the price paid. Definitely go back.

Early October its not easy to find good greens. The greens at encanto were pretty rough, but again, its that time of year.

Nice, just a bit tight, ie; crowded.... lord some friendly peps out there, but some. Well let’s just say ,they need to relax and an be social able and play golf.

Lots of Golfers, but Played in under 4 Hours!
A little expensive for a Muni course, and the greens were recently punched, but the restof the course was in great shape!

Nice course. Greens appeared to be fast but were a little slow. Overall course condition was better than "Good".
The staff were friendly and the Bar and drink cart staff were great.\

Character, Character, character
This track has it all!! The layout was very challenging and fun to learn do's and don'ts. Plays LONGER than expected. Fun was for all. Greens putting like pros. The historical significance was epic!! I highly recommend.

Labor Day
I have played this course for over 30 years. Its always in decent shape. The employees are always friendly and the ranger for the course is always fair.

Good course
I like playing here but the course was super wet the 1st 9. Also, there was no beer cart. Maybe due to Covid? Pace of play was really slow today. Was behind 3 elderly walkers and no Marshall to encourage pace.
