Encanto Golf Course

This course is flat and pretty wide open. Not alot of trouble to get into. Fairways in good shape, greens also prettty good. Nice sunny day for the most part, clouds rolled in for about 3 holes. The price was right. Great place to play in the winter when the rates are up at other courses.

the greens were lightning fast and true, the complete opposite for the pace. No ranger and several holes there were 4 groups waiting on one hole. Every par three was a 20 minute wait to hit the ball. Then to add insult no food cart and your only choice for food and drink is in the pro shop. Pack a lunch playing this course

Been playing Encanto for 30 years. Always liked the course, not tough but a nice way to spend a day out. Good places to eat in the area.

Course is in as good of shape as I have ever seen it and that's all I am going to say.

Haven't played Encanto since last year. I believe the course is in better condition. The greens are good and were fast. Pace of play was about average, playing as a foursome in about 4 hours.

Went for a refreshment at the Mulligan Restaurant but it wasn't open! '

The staff was helpful with pointing out a nearby establishment.

On the plus side there was an ice machine and soft drinks in the ProShop.

Will return again...maybe sooner that a year.

Not the toughest coarse but very nice.played in 3 hrs (4some) clubhouse guys and starter were great. See you again,soon

I loved this course, wide generous fairways which were green by the way, greens were very receptive despite the scorching heat. nice to have water stations around the course, old school type of course with lots of palm trees and some water on a few holes.not terribly difficult but fun..if you hit a stray tee shot most of the holes are forgiving and you still have a shot at the green. Highly recommened..

Course was in great shape for being hot as it is. Fair price. Good layout

The greens at Encanto are always good. I haven't played there in over a year and I was surprised at how good the overall condition of the course was. Fairways were green and there was actually some rough. This time of the year you have to play fast because its so hot. We got around in just under 3 hours.

the course will be excellent in 2 weeks..... tee boxes and greens were superior even in this heat.... you needed to move the ball around a bit because of the aerating but that was okay...

This course has been a favorite of many over the years especially when the heat starts to pick up in the valley. The worst thing is no ice or ice chest provided, or water jugs to hydrate golfer(s) around the course. Grant it it's a municipal course but drinking fountains can be like drinking from a garden hose. The on site grill is not open anymore or maybe just weekends. The pro shop does have some refreshments but the snacks are very limited. This is an easy playing course but be aware of the limited on site amenities before booking a good rate. They need improve to have me coming back again.

Greens were sketchy and fairways were sketchier, lots of dead spots thruout course but to be completely fair our group has run into this on some other courses on the west side although their greens were in much better shape.....

Fairways were okay condition, traps were bad, heavy wet sand. Putting out of traps was best. The greens were the best part, moderate to fast and smooth.

I always enjoy playing this track.

Staff not very personable I also am in the golf business and can't emphasize how important the first point of contact can be.

Additionally, a great reason for repeat customers.

No food. No ice. Dirt tee boxes. Dead fish. Dead birds.

Course is pretty ,icy dead. Really bad shape and very little grass in fairways. Better off bring in the rough, since it's at least longer dead stuff to sit on, as opposed to hard dirt. Don't play here this summer.
