The Encanto Golf Course is an 18-hole golf course designed by William P. Bell and built in 1936. It offers 6,404 yards of par-70 golf from the championship tees.
Reservations are required on the Encanto Golf Course, which is open year-round, and features all of the amenities, such as rental carts and clubs, an in-house professional and a driving range. Metal spikes are allowed.

City of Phoenix card holder and GolfNow frequent customer
Have golfed at Encanto many many times. Understand that it's becoming hot in Phoenix course is extremely dry and cut very thin greens are good gentleman in the clubhouse could use some customer service skills. When inform them I was a GolfNow purchaser they said oh you're one of them
Booking at Encanto
I have been trying to book a tee time at Encanto for a week and keep getting an error message. finally called the course to book and found rates had gone up compared to what I was usually paying on Golf Now. Is this a gimmick Encanto is using in order to generate more revenue ? If so, this may be the last time I play Encanto - even though I have enjoyed playing the course. Please let me know if Encanto is going back to on-line booking soon.
Good Time at the old course
Had a fun time playing Encanto. I received the hot deal off golf now which was great. Only downside is that a friend who ended up playing with us wasn't able to get the same deal. While I paid $14, he spent over $42 to play with us.

Potential
I get it, it's a downtown course so the price stays higher than normal courses in its condition. But come on, please get the cart girl out there and open the restaurant and this place would be much better.. has lots of potential!
MV Harold
Course was only a mediocre one. There were no amenities on the course, and the restaurant was shut down. There were water coolers, but the water was not very cold for a hot day on the course. The clubhouse staff were very short and Kurt with us, and clearly over their head In dealing with the public. I would not recommend this course, and the price was not worth the value. The only positive I can give this course is the views of the city.
Gone Down Hill
We have been playing this course on our vacations for 3 years now. It was good value when the course was being maintained well, the café was open and the price was $37.00. It was not well maintained, the café was closed on a Sunday and the price was over $50.00 pp riding. We were recommending the course as an economical option between playing the nicer courses, but we will not be back.
Long course
Nice long course. Perfect for long irons and fairway woods. Wide fairways and easy to find your ball on errant shots. Well maintained with smooth greens. Beautiful scenery of the city around the course.

Mulligans is no longer
Course was in great shape, as usual. The city of Phoenix cancelled their contract with the operators of Mulligan''s snack shop and as a result Mulligan's was locked up tight and there was no beverage cart on the course. Be forewarned before you play!

Second visit to Encanto
Good course for the intermediate player, wide fairways and level greens. Played twice around the 4 hour mark with a noon tee off time. Try it I think you will like it!
