Coronado Golf Course
About
Coronado Golf Course is as excellent place for golfers to work on their short game and it is also great for beginners. The course is relatively flat making it pleasantly walkable. The greens are large and the fairways are lined with trees, but still have generous landing areas. The holes are quite challenging with water hazards and bunkers coming into play. The relaxed atmosphere and affordability of the course have made it popular among locals, yet the course is still surprisingly not crowded most of the time. Coronado Golf Course has convenient practice facilities, including a lighted driving range that stays open until 9 every night.

Good for beginners.
Very reasonable when it comes to the green fees. The greens are well maintained. The fairways need maintenance.
Slow play and cart paths require maintenance. Otherwise a great practice course,
decent practice course but needs work. Play area is rough around grass cart paths, fairways are rough and bumpy also.
Perfect for short game
Course is being overseeded so there were some challenges. I got to work on my short irons.
Course is being reseeded and any critique would be unfair.
Staff is great and nice location. Great potential but course is under renovation
Short city course, but good value.
Gentleman in clubhouse was very friendly. Course was very quiet given the fact that all of the tee boxes and greens were temporary. This should have been advised on Golf Now. Sadly it wasn't. Still, for the money paid t was a good morning's walk and a little exercise.
Great deal.
For the price, it was a good value. Greens were a little chunky but otherwise in decent shape. Staff were very friendly and fun to talk to. Nice wide open range. Not the TPC, but for a $4 Hot Deal it was a fun 9 holes.
Great short game course
Greatest value in the valley. Very friendly and flexible staff. Play there at least once a week.
Great Staff
The Staff is amazing, truly care of your needs! Recommend going to the drive range before hitting the fairways, you will enjoy the distance and marking challenges!
There was no waiting for my 10:30 reservation; I got on and played the course in beautiful weather.
Everything was beautiful that morning ... and I did pretty well for not having played since spring. The course is open and diverse and one of my favorites to play. Short and long holes give a challenge. Really enjoyed myself.
Easy course to play for beginners like me.
Played on 9/2/13. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Course needs some maintenance and better markings, but it was all we were looking for. The course is quick and easy to play and very inexpensive to play.
Great to learn on very walkable
Fun short course. Just bring 3 clubs and start walking.
You get what you pay for.
There were several mud holes around the greens and the cart path was swamped in several places. It was inexpensive, though.
This course is a great practice course
Being new to golf, I appreciated the low pricing for green fees and cart rental. $11 is the most you would pay for green fees and a cart, I can think of worse ways I spend that much weekly.
Friendly staff and good value
The course needed some upkeep. The fairways were at times sparse and they need to label the holes but it was a pretty easy course, no wait, and a great value.
Cannot beat the price for 9 holes
Its a great old muni course and I loved it...Pretty beat up but who cares if you just want to play golf for almost nothing.
Good Value for the $
The course is "summer dry" but the greens were decent. I found a super cheap t time on golfnow.com so go for it. It was nice to get an extra round in for the week.
Good for the money
While the course could use work, it's great for the price. I'm a beginning golfer and at Coronado's prices I can get the frequent practice I need. I like the staff, the place and the course.
Nine holes of fun.
We golfed the course on April 15th this year and had a lot of fun. The course needs a lot of TLC and more water. It's a poor time of year to judge a golf course because of maybe having a bad winter. There are no hole markers out or yardage markers. Why I don't know. But dollar for dollar it's good value for your money. We would golf there again for sure. The gentleman in the pro shop was very friendly and helpful.
Good beginner course
My wife is just learning. The greens are good fairways not groomed ut $24.00 for 2 to walk 9 holes with rented carts and finished in just over 1 hour is great value for the money. Good driving range.
