About
Coronado Golf Course is as excellent place for golfers to work on their short game and it is also great for beginners. The course is relatively flat making it pleasantly walkable. The greens are large and the fairways are lined with trees, but still have generous landing areas. The holes are quite challenging with water hazards and bunkers coming into play. The relaxed atmosphere and affordability of the course have made it popular among locals, yet the course is still surprisingly not crowded most of the time. Coronado Golf Course has convenient practice facilities, including a lighted driving range that stays open until 9 every night.

Prices too high
The prices have been hiked up a lot this year. We used to pay $11 and now $18…we have decided that the course is now too expensive for what is there. We now golf at Continental

Best deal in Scottsdale
This is an executive 9 hole golf course with 5 par 3's and 4 par 4's at the low cost of $18 to walk or $27 if you want a cart. You can book online at Golfnow.com sometimes gettimg hot deals of about half price or give them a call the month of to book. Friendly awesome staff (best to tip the shop workers to get even better service, advice and benefits like squeezing you in or late for tee times etc).
They have a lit lightinf range thats open until 9 pm pretyy much 365 days of the year selling rage balls until 8 pm daily. It is cash only with NO atm. Bucket prices are $6.75 to $11.75. Everyday there is Happy Hour from 4-8 pm you get a coupke bucks off buckets and domestic beer is only $2. PBR and Rolling rocks are only $1.50 all day everyday and premium beer is only $3.50! Unheard of in Scottsdale!
Its super casual and you get what you pay for so the grounds could be in better shape. A great place for beginners and families since kids golf free and get free range balls too. I love this place. Voted best of phoenix new times 2 years in a row!

Great value for a quick game !!! Near 101 and Thomas Scottsdale.
Its alright
Im new to golf so I try to play the cheap courses as im learning the sport. The older guy at the front was rude to me as im just asking questions about what costs what and clarifying. Was about twenty-something dollars for 9 and a cart, double what desert mirage charges for an exponentially better 9 and a cart (and I don’t get scolded for asking questions). If the course costed as much as desert mirage it would have been a lot better in my eyes. Adding to that, its cash only in 2022, which is just plain weird. Only real redeeming thing is there is 30 minutes between tee times and if you get a younger guy in the shop, they are usually nicer.

Good Course for Beginners like Me
Great place, and forgiving to newbies like myself.
Fun inexpensive 9-hole exec course
If you're new to the game or getting back into it as I am, I don't see the need to go spend a fortune on other courses while I'm improving my skills.
This course is easy to book, typically not crowded so no one is pushing you along, tee off and greens are in good shape.
This course is located in a wash so there is reason it's not a premier course. Pay particular attention when booking during monsoon season, the course may be flooded.
