What a great course can’t say enough about pace of play , stafff rental clubs, you name it , it was great

Played Oakcreek Country Club for the first time this week. It was in tremendous shape for November. Greens were a tad fast, but workable with some patience. Course offered tee boxes for every level of golfer. It was a very enjoyable round with the friendly golfers I was paired with. I recommend OCC, and will return again. A winner in my book!

Worst day of golf ever. Payed $130 to be harassed on every hole by the course marshal. They overbooked the course and had a tournament coming up behind us, so they were trying to rush all the groups through the course. Every hole the marshals would come up and tell us to pick up our rate of play even though the group in front of us was within 100 to 150 yards. We could not move forward because the group of ahead of us was waiting on the people in front of them. The entire course was backed up, which is fine and understandable, but the marshals continue to badger us on every hole, reminding us that we needed to keep our pace of play up. At one point they even asked my little sister who struggles at golf to pick up her ball and move it up with ours even though we are still waiting on the people in front of us to finish on the green. I called on the eighth hole and complained to the manager and he admitted that they overbooked the course and asked that we just move it along to help the tournament get going. I paid $130 and was asked to shorten my day because they screwed up. The course was amazing, the greens were extremely fast, which was frustrating, but that isn’t any fault of anyone. Just the conditions of the course. Had it not been for the marshals we would absolutely play here again, but they were so incredibly rude and didn’t offer to reimburse us any amount of money, even though they try to shorten our day by hours. I don’t even want a refund I just want to be able to keep our usual rate of play. All in all it took us four hours and 45 minutes to get through the course which is 15 minutes behind normal rate of play. And we waited on every hole for the people in front of us who were also harassed and horribly upset. Half of their group went home only playing nine holes when they paid for 18. If you’re going to play here, make sure you call ahead and make sure they don’t have a tournament coming in at noon!

Having now played Oak Creek CC a few times this season, the course has become more enjoyable and a favorite.

Had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast at the Oak Creek Bistro. Sandy our hostess was wonderful and the food was great.

Also must mention Holly, the starter. Holly has a beautiful personality and Oak Creek CC should commend her on her customer service.

All good except pace of play. There were 6 people nefore us. Even though 4 people play and 2 people gallery it was way too much. Tee-off interval should be more.

My wife and I paired up with a couple of guys from Texas. Really fun. Course maintenance was top notch. For first timers it was easy to move from green to tee. Fairways were perfect, couldn't comment on rough, I was never there. Wife lived there!

Just kidding, she beat me 2 and 1, rough was what it should be, a challenge. Greens were fast. Be prepared to really think about a putt. Learned a lot on those greens and thankful for it.

The course was beautiful and very fun to play. My brother and I had never played here but, found it very fun and challenging. We will definitely play again if we are in the area.

For a desert dweller, this is a nice change of pace. The elevation makes it cooler and tall pines line the fairways. The fairways and greens were all in good shape. The greens were very fast most of the round, but slowed a bit late in the afternoon. The greens were receptive, however, so a lofted ball would hold. Enjoyed the course.
