Willowcreek Golf Course
About
Willowcreek Golf Course in Sun City has one regulation length 18-hole course, the Willowcreek Course, as well as one executive length course, the Willowbrook Course. The traditional layout of the Willowcreek Course features three lakes that form water hazards that come into play on four holes. The course is relatively flat but there are some minor rolling hills that cause uneven lies. The fairways and greens are consistently in good condition on both courses and they are both considered very user-friendly. The Willowcreek Golf Course facility used to be private but it is now open to the public.

Nice course
The course itself was great fun. Very good condition especially considering they are gearing up for a renovation. Greens were very nice. Very enjoyable.
We had a few issues though. First off we paid for a power cart and were told upon arrival that there were none, they were all out and had no idea when they would be back.As we booked thru Golf Now there would be no price adjustment for a pull cart. (We did get a power cart for the back 9).
Secondly there is little direction to find the course and Sun City is a maze of concentric circles. Even with GPS it was hard to find. There are also no diagrams of the course, none on signs, none on the scorecard, no pictographs , no hieroglyphics nothing! Just shoot on to the fairway and hope the green is out there.
All that aside it is a lovely course, good pace, (even with 5 some on the course) mostly forgiving layout and interesting pin placements.
Fair ways and greens
Every thing was great sorry to hear they are closing for 9 months
Fun Course, Well Maintained
Always a fun place to play. Pace of play somewhat but marshal was trying to get the pace of play up.
No Carts !
Arrived for my tee Time . No carts , over booked !!! Didn’t get to play . I’m out the GolfNow Fee! I won’t play there again!!!!
Decent day
Was able to get an earlier than scheduled tee time.
Front nine has a boring back and forth layout. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are in good condition.
Back nine has more character and more enjoyable. Same overall conditions.
Pace of play good at 4:15 hours.
Funn course good company
Always enjoyable to play this course. Closing in March for renovations, so wanted to play it before then
Green side traps
Traps have enough sand but need to be compacted. Too fluffy to execute correctly. Also players need to be reminded to rake.
Great Round
Course is in Fantastic shape, well groomed fairways and greens. Pace of play was just right, and I had a great round! TERRIFIC value @ $25 on a Sunday afternoon, will go back for sure.
Legitimate challenge for Mid handicappers
Fairways and greens in good shape. Most [not all ] traps have good sand depth. Enough water to make it interesting but not overly too much of a factor. Course was loaded so it took 4.5 hours to finish where 3.75 - 4.0 hours should normaly be sufficient
Standard Sun City
Course was in great condition, as expected for this time of year. Layout is pretty standard Sun City fare; flat, small greens, straight forward layout. Greens were in good shape, on the hard and slow side. People who frequent this course don't seem to care about fixing ball marks, there were plenty of them for so early in the morning. There was a particular 3 on the back which had a massive tree directly in front of the blue tee box, unless you have a 20 yard hook in your bag you're stuck bailing out to the right side of the green. For $40 there's more interesting courses in the west valley. Staff was nice, facilities show their age.
Fairways
The fairways are cut to short and they were wet love the the lay out.
Willowcreek
Course is in very good condition, and the staff was very friendly. It was very busy, but our 4 some played in just over 4 hours. Is worth playing again, especially if you can get a discount.
Worth a try....
Course was in decent enough shape, wide fairways, greens rolled true with a good deal of subtle breaks (and not so subtle ones), pace of play was below average with bigger then normal back ups on par 3 holes, overall a good value that pretty much mirrors the whole Sun City circuit of courses.....
Greens
The greens were great sand traps need some maintenance love the lay out,,
