Willowcreek Golf Course
About
Willowcreek Golf Course in Sun City has one regulation length 18-hole course, the Willowcreek Course, as well as one executive length course, the Willowbrook Course. The traditional layout of the Willowcreek Course features three lakes that form water hazards that come into play on four holes. The course is relatively flat but there are some minor rolling hills that cause uneven lies. The fairways and greens are consistently in good condition on both courses and they are both considered very user-friendly. The Willowcreek Golf Course facility used to be private but it is now open to the public.

Nice course
My second time playing here... my wife and I both like this course, really nothing negative I can say about any aspect of the course and will be back
Great Sun City golf course
Course is in great shape from tee to green with above average speed on the greens. Got a great deal on Golf Now. Always enjoy this course and have always had a great experience at this course. Highly recommend
Need a Marshall to many freeloaders
Hadn't played here before nice layout course was in very good condition. Issue is way to many people who live near by just jump in front of you slow pace of play down and have no regard for people who actually paid. I will not come back due to poor experience go somewhere else where 4 twosomes won't jump in front of you.
fivesoma
To many groups of fives . waited on every hole, took five hours to play. Need to correct this problem or they will loose customers.
Course needs to review their policies
We arrived 40 minutes prior to our tee time of 1:22 and were greeted in the pro shop by at least 15 groups ahead of us waiting to pay. This left us no time to go to the range to warm up. The next very disappointing thing happened on the #1 tee. Our group was called and the pro shop announced 5 names for our time. We went to the #1 hole on time, and to our surprise there were 3 golf carts in the group ahead of us with 5 players in that group. We asked what time they had and were told that they had the 1:15 time. The other golfers in our group were no where to be found. We also discovered from the 5-some ahead of us that they were following another 5-some. All of this left my husband and myself in a two-some. What course allows that? As a result, we were left to wait on every shot in our round. Where was the course marshall or starter to correct this? It is unlikely that we will return.
solid course
Always enjoy playing this course, friendly staff and play moves along at a fair pace,
Great layout and ease of play
Nice open and wide fairways. Fairway grass was nice to hit off of (sorry about the preposition at the end). Pace of play was good despite the fact there were fivesomes playing. I will play this again. The only problem for me was that it was a longer drive from my home than usual. All in all, a very nice day of golf and it was only 90 degrees!
Enjoyed playing this course
Nice course for the average player. Fairly flat, wide fairways and nice greens. The course was in good condition. The roughs are pretty dry and the creeks can be a hassle but manageable. The biggest problem is the 5 somes that the management allows which slows down.play. We still enjoyed are round.
pace of play
I had a 12:30 pm booking and actually went out early. The course is in great shape and the greens are very good.Totally surprised when we finished in under 4 hrs.Great weather and a great time
Another great find!
We play a few times a week and have been trying out some Sun City courses. This one is a keeper!!!
Unfortunately it didn't work out. When I got to the course I was told that there was a women's tournament going on and the wait would be very long. I was able to get a tee time at another course so left. So I paid the golf now fee for nothing.
Slowdown
Due to the late start of a 9 hole tournament on adjoining course made for a very slow front nine. Back nine played in less than two hours. Green and fairways in great shape!!
Quick round
Was able to play the course in about 3.5 hours in a foursome with a 1PM tee time. It was cool and windy following an overnight rain. The course was cart path only which led to quite a bit of walking (estimated from my gps as 3.5 miles beyond cart movement. Course was in good shape and I enjoyed the round
Great finishing holes
A typical Sun City course, plenty wide, easy to play low cut rough, nice fairways, good greens which are probably a little too firm. The creek is a small concrete culvert which is along the right side of almost every hole. This culvert is dry most of the time so feel free to play out of it if you wish.
The back 9 seems more appealing to me. The final few holes are quite pretty.
Friends
A pleasant experience together with good friends. The course was in good shape.
Willowbrook
Enjoyed playing Willowbrook very much. Was welcomed to the course by Bob when we got there. Course was in very good shape. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in excellent shape. Only negative was the course allowing fivesomes. We ended playing as a twosome but we had two fivesomes in front of us. Their pace was pretty good but we ended up waiting on every hole for our next shot. Probably added at least a hour to our time over 18 holes.
