Palmbrook Golf Club
About
The golf course at the Palmbrook Golf Club (formerly known as Palmbrook Country Club) has a reputation for being immaculately well kept. The course's greens and fairways are consistently kept in excellent condition making the course enjoyable to play. In addition to the spotless maintenance, the course at the Palmbrook Golf Club has a challenging design that incorporates water hazards in the form of a meandering brook and six lakes on the back nine. The challenging greens are fast and hard to read. There are also several bunkers that can affect play. Four sets of teeboxes provide different options.

Summer golf
For the time of year and the heat we’re having, no complaints about the course conditions. There’s grass in the fairways and the greens are in very good shape. Bunkers could have better sand, but that’s most courses. Appreciate the ice and water machine, I wish more courses had that. Carts have gps, nice amenity.
Keep up the good work
Course shows that it’s being taken care of. It will take a little time but it’s a substantial improvement over how it used to under old ownership. One disappointing thing, our golf cart was given to us uncharged. We had to come in and change carts after 4 holes. The cart we got had 2 empty sand bottles. It shouldn’t be so hard to keep the sand bottles full. Way too many people playing in 105 degree weather. I’m used to empty golf courses in the summer.
Definitely in Summer Conditions
We love palmbrook and love what the new owners are doing to it, but this was bad summer conditions, even for Sun City standards. The fairways were the worst part, but some of the greens even had huge areas of mud or dirt. I’m guessing they’re going to really renovate when we get into season again but this was surprising and we probably won’t play it again this summer because there are better $30-40 rounds out there right now.
Palmbrook never disappoints
The course is in great condition, the carts with gps are very accurate. The pace was great, Tee times are spread far enough apart to really help. Overall I am very happy with my experience and look forward to playing again.
User-friendly
Wide Fairways large greens. Greens and good condition and roll true. Fairways generally good, but it is summer, and it was 114. Will go back.
Disappointment
We had booked a teatime through GolfNow. They said that they were irritating. When we got to the course the front nine was shut down and we had to play the back nine twice which wasn’t a very good experience at all. Had we known we were gonna play nine holes twice we would not have worked
Palmbrook
It was a hot day, but the pace was slow due to it being Saturday. Course conditions were good and it was nice to play on some nice grass as many courses this time of year are burnt out on the fairways. Enjoyed playing here on a good course that has its challenges but is fair if you hit good shots.
Nice Course
The course is in good condition despite the summer heat. Greens were in nice shape with a true roll. Nice layout. The back 9 seemed more challenging than the front 9. Played in 3 hours and had a great time despite the heat.
my experience...
my experience is always great..will be looking forwartd to playing there again in a few weeks..
Typical Sun City Course
The course was formerly a Country Club, so some of the fairways are still good shape. Nearly every hole on the back nine has water on it. The greens run true and are fairly easy.
Sweet Twilight Rates
Hopefully this course stays in this condition for the rest of the Summer. Last year the fairways got very baked-out. Great practice area.
