About
The golf course at the Palmbrook Golf Club (formerly known as Palmbrook Country Club) has a reputation for being immaculately well kept. The course's greens and fairways are consistently kept in excellent condition making the course enjoyable to play. In addition to the spotless maintenance, the course at the Palmbrook Golf Club has a challenging design that incorporates water hazards in the form of a meandering brook and six lakes on the back nine. The challenging greens are fast and hard to read. There are also several bunkers that can affect play. Four sets of teeboxes provide different options.

Pretty good course!
The grass on the rough was a solid 4-6 inches thick and if you didn’t hit the fairway good luck finding your ball. Drinking fountains were also under repair. Otherwise beautiful course. One weird thing I noticed is it was weird finding what color to tee off from on the tee box since all the rocks were on the side of the tee box (in 2-4 inches of grass) opposite the cart path so you have to get out of your cart and walk to where you think the appropriate spot is

Typically a good course
I’ve been to Palmbrook a handful of times and it’s usually well kept and pace of play is quick. I won’t be going back until I know that the grass is in better condition. Weeds and long grass are evident throughout most of the fairways, which is a shame. For example, we searched for more than five minutes and were unable to find a bright yellow ball that landed just off the edge of the fairway because the grass was so thick and long. This hasn’t been an issue before, so I hope it’s a quick fix.

GOAT TRACK
GOAT TRACK. Not the good type either. I had to search for my ball amongst the various gopher holes. Keep goats from eating my golf bag and herding cows with my prod. I don’t think the animals of the land have cut this grass in years. I couldn’t tell you what type of grass this was. Whoever is the super of this course needs his brain wiped and start a new life as a baby. Relearn another profession like kite surfing.

Greens ok
Tee boxes bad shape, most fairways are thin spotty and weedy. Greens ok.

played this course in the past and was always in good condition in the summer. not this year, to say the first tee box was a waffle board would be an insult to waffles. the fairway was worse. ok, happens sometimes, while friendly in the proshop on check in. 2 people behind the counter, and 2 cart people setting in lobby, perhaps take a ride around and look for a backup. as a single, behind a 2 some, behind a 3 some that was just a mess. hopefully next time will be better
