About
The golf course at the Palmbrook Golf Club (formerly known as Palmbrook Country Club) has a reputation for being immaculately well kept. The course's greens and fairways are consistently kept in excellent condition making the course enjoyable to play. In addition to the spotless maintenance, the course at the Palmbrook Golf Club has a challenging design that incorporates water hazards in the form of a meandering brook and six lakes on the back nine. The challenging greens are fast and hard to read. There are also several bunkers that can affect play. Four sets of teeboxes provide different options.

Nice course, good value
Enjoyed playing this course. The only negatives were cart path only and shaggy slow greens. Both of these were due to just having overseeding done. Would love to play the course again with faster, smoother greens.

Loved my round!
The staff here were awesome!! Can’t thank them enough for being accommodating and helping me out, and finding my lost headphones and calling me to let me know without them even being labelled with my name! They are so kind and friendly, and play the course was just as good for me. I thoroughly enjoyed my round, nice layout, nice and relaxed, and nice carts. Would recommend highly!!

Palmbrook is a nice, fun, relaxing course to spend a morning or afternoon. It has great conditions, is well managed and maintained. I think it is one of the few places left that locals can enjoy and meet new people and old friends.

First Time
My friend and i paid $52 to play with tax. While waiting to check in another player asked the pro shop employee if they gave them the discount and he said yes. We were not members so no discount for us because of the bad condition of the course which I thought was pretty unfair. We don't think we will come back to play here even when the course is in great shape as that's no way to treat a first time player at this course. Even if you're not a member we shouldn't have paid top dollar to play with the course in such a terrible condition.

Decent Value
This is an old school 70s country club,which is kinda fun.
It was a few days before overseed,thus not fair to judge course condition.
Excuses, excuses...take note of Westbrook Village Lakes course. No matter what time of year it is always in excellent shape, not just for members and the snowbirds but for all of us natives and others who live here year round.
That seems to be the excuse for a lot of these golf courses in this area. Let me give you a tip. Westbrook Village Lakes course is ALWAYS in excellent shape no matter what time of year it is. Maybe some of these courses including Palmbrook should take a lesson from them instead of worrying about making the course in good shape when the snowbirds are here and for the members only.

Growing old
I've played this course many times. They were preparing the course for their overseed in a few days. The fairways/greens/tee boxes had been verticut.
But it occured to me that they had completely removed the waste containers and ball washers at every hole. The water fountains had also been removed. Then when we were leaving hole #5, our cart quit and would only go in reverse. And both carts were on the cart path.
We know not to drive on the course as you approach the greens or their gps will shut you off. It took us a long time driving backwards as the foursome behind us watched in amusement. I reported it to Luis at the pro shop. But it slowed us down for a good 10-15 minutes. We still finished a bit over four hours. If it weren't for the triple cart foursome ahead of us, we could have finished much sooner. We never saw the players ahead of them or a ranger.

Course was in terrible condition.
Greens were mowed way down, fairways were hard as rocks.

Just before over seeding!
Nice course but they were already preparing to close for over seeding and had cut the fairways and greens down so greens were very fast and fairways were hitting off hard pan. Will come back again to get a better feel for course when done with over seeding.

This course we have played many times and it was in the worst shape of all.the times we've played....I get it that it's summer but this was bad...maybe wait before you play it...
