Sun City Country Club
About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Golfer Reviews
First Impressions
We enjoyed our round and were lucky to be paired with a lovely couple who were familiar with the course which was a great help in getting around the course. Conditions were very good, though the course was quite windy.
Would be happy to return and play again, the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nice day at Sun City CC
Fun course to play, but a little short at 6200 yds from the tips. Need a zero bounce on your sand wedge because the traps are rock hard, like a quarter inch of sand over a tile floor.
Sandtraps
Sand traps were not playable. They where very hard and need additional sand
Get out early before 8 if possible .. we played in 3 1/2 hrs but easy to see going out after 9 or 10 it’s easily a 41/2 or 5 hr round…
Course was open not a lot of trouble , the greens down hold good shots well … but overall good course for mid to upper handicap golfers.
Ok
I was expecting the course to be in immaculate shape because of the weather being perfect for growing and plus this is supposed to be the crown jewel of Sun City courses. It was good but not great. If you like to walk it’s a good walking course, like most sun city courses.
Clover Fairways
All the fairways are basically clover not grass and the greens were a liitte bumpy due to no grass in spots. Played another course (municipal) the following day and it was much better for lower cost.
