About
The golf course at the Sun City Country Club provides a challenging championship course in an elegant setting. The semi-private course has a tight layout with fairways that are lined with trees and bushes. The trees provide plenty of shade, a welcome asset on sunny days. The greens play at medium speed and they are consistently in good condition. Several of the greens are elevated and sloped. A water hazard comes into play on three holes on the course. The seventh, a 153-yard, par-3, hole is the signature hole. It requires a tee shot over water that has to carry at least 125 yards. The upscale Sun City Country Club offers fine dining options as well as an experienced and helpful on-site golf pro.

Great time
Weather was perfect to play the course was packed a couple of holes the greens need to be repaired had a great time
Just meh.
First time at course, great pro shop agent. Was not impressed by driving range (placed on slope) and course was not what I expected based on the most current reviews. I’m wondering if SCCC had placed their own reviews depicting better conditions. Course had a lot of dirt spots, broken tree limbs on fairways and some greens were damaged badly. I’m hoping some good rain and better care will help this course improve. May return with more positive reviews.
This course was horrible played 18 yesterday 8/19/2023 the fairways was like the rough you couldn't find your ball because the grass was not mowed the greens were not taken care of as well. The golf carts were gas and had no maintenance done to them it seemed like. Would not recommend this course to anyone.

always a good time at sun city cc. moderately challenging and a great place to play as a tuneup to upcoming tournaments u might be in.
Old World Charm!!
56 year old course, but going strong. The high temperatures are showing signs of wear, yet expected under the extreme circumstances.
On a positive note, the Golfnow Hot deal was the price of a large bucket of balls at most golf courses.
I would much rather play Sun City Country Club, than stand on astro turf for 60 minutes, hitting golf balls. I got to work on putting, short game, and improve my index.
Glad I booked a tee time, instead of listening to negative reviews, and book elsewhere.

Hooked up with a couple of great guys. I had a blast I struggled a bit golfing but great fellowship and a great time hope to see them again

Don't waste your money. This course is garbage. Doesn't matter if you're on the fairway, rough or green. Probably the worst course I've ever played.
Good condition just wish Golf Now had said the greens where recently punched.
Bad Summer Conditions
I like this course and haves played dozens of times … but whoever gave this a positive review should be ashamed. Not worth the money this time of year. Almost quit after 11. No grass in most of the fairways. Greens bumpy. They have an ice machine which was positive and the staff is friendly.
Will go back in the fall when they can get fairways back in cooler conditions.

Good Shape
I was surprised at the shape of the course due to the extremely hot temps over the last few weeks. Greens were a little bumpy but that had to have been due to the weather. Fairways had a few bald spots but the course was playable. Good value.

Good Value
I have played this course before and love the layout. Bunkers actually had sand in them unlike many of the other courses I’ve played recently. Lots of dry patches in the fairways especially near the greens. Greens were pretty fast but true. I saw the beverage cart at the clubhouse getting ready to go out and that was the last time I saw it. Could have used some ice on the back nine.

Course is in good shape for Az summertime Great hamburger meal best I've had in a long time. Staff very friendly
