North Golf Course at Sun City
About
Located just south of Grand Avenue in Sun City, Sun City North Golf Course's trademarks are the doglegs and large trees that are present throughout the course. It has many other challenges to offer including plush, elevated greens and numerous sand bunkers. Placid ponds also create water hazards that come into play on two holes. The well-maintained course is relatively flat with plenty of shade, making it enjoyable to walk. The Sun City North Golf Course facility has several amenities including a putting green and chipping area. There is also a fully stocked pro shop and full service grill and deli.

Greens Coming Around
Greens are starting to fill in and have more grass to them making chipping and putting more consistent. Fairways were in good shape. Rough can be thin in spots but should be expected this time of year. Like the layout especially 3 3’s, 3 4’s, and 3 5’s on the back. Played in 3:30 which was really nice.
Great Course for 18 hole beginners
I really like this course. The people are so nice and the course is very forgiving even with residential on the sides of the fairway. Cup placements are challenging, fairways and green are well Maintained. I would recommend.
Bad grouping by manager
I scheduled a single walking for 9:30. I arrived at 8:15, hit balls and putted. At 9:20 I walked toward the first tee and clubhouse announced 5 golfers on tee and single to follow. Talked to attendant and he said two groups “condensed “ to one. I could however wait another 45 minutes to play with a twosome. Three of the players were terrible but since they knew the attendant they were grouped. Will never play there again
Beautiful and Quiet Course for any skill level
Sun City North Course is just as beautiful as the South Course and has very lush green Fairways and well maintained greens, bunkers, and on site amenities.
Grass in fairways is thin
I felt when using irons that the grass was really thin which does not much gliding wwhen using irons. If grass was thicker, i would of given a better rating.
NO Carts To Rent
After driving 25 minutes to the course we were dumbfound to be told the course has 'zero' power carts or walking carts to rent. Then a snarling remark from the person checking us in, "I guess you just came to the wrong course!" What a stupid thing to say to a customer.
Good course
If you stay on the fairways course is fine. Off fairways even just barely ground rock hard and grass not present. But for money it was a good course.
Good course a little pricey
The course is in very good condition. Pace was good. A little pricey at $69 a round.
Grass a bit thin on hard ground
This is the first time I have played here. I found that this course is in good condition. Fairways are green but very thin grass which can cause irons to bounce off the hard ground. Greens and tee boxes are in good condition. I would given this course 4 stars bit do to ground being hard and thin grass I gave this course a 3 star
NO Carts To Rent
I've golfed for 65 years. In all those years of golfing literally all over the world I've never been to a course that did not have rental carts, neither driven or walking carts. So after driving 20 minutes to enjoy a round of golf we weren't able to play. At 73 I'm a little too old to carry my clubs for 18 holes. What a joke.
Fairways and greens nic
Course was great for the money. If you get off the fairways or just fringe of greens it was rock hard with very little grass. Over all the course was nice and fun to play.
What a Debacle!!
My friend and I arrived to play as a twosome. We drove 20 minutes to the course and shockingly discovered the course does not have rental carts, period! Not one drive cart, not one walking cart. Then the guy behind the desk tells us; 'you picked the wrong golf course." No empathy, no concern for us. I have played golf for 65 years and I've played all over the world. I have NEVER played on a course that had neither a drive cart or walking cart. What a joke and waste of a very nice day. Shame on this golf course to not have essential equipment to rent!
A great day
This course is always great to play. Nice conditions and the price is right.
The course purposefully sends out groups of 5
I booked 3 of 4 people for a teetime on Golfnow. I noticed the day after I booked that my time still showed 2 available slots. The course purposefully books groups of 5 which slows down play. When we arrived to play there was indeed 5 people at our teetime.
The day started off slow as several groups bunched up on the first 3-4 holes. Eventually, we got moving. After the turn the pace slowed down again. No rangers out to keep the pace moving. The greens keeper must have been in a bad mood as most of the pins were all placed on slopes.
