North Golf Course at Sun City
About
Located just south of Grand Avenue in Sun City, Sun City North Golf Course's trademarks are the doglegs and large trees that are present throughout the course. It has many other challenges to offer including plush, elevated greens and numerous sand bunkers. Placid ponds also create water hazards that come into play on two holes. The well-maintained course is relatively flat with plenty of shade, making it enjoyable to walk. The Sun City North Golf Course facility has several amenities including a putting green and chipping area. There is also a fully stocked pro shop and full service grill and deli.

Needs water bad!!
greens were great, fairways we dry and rough is dirt. Have different cart rules for Golf now rates… Can’t play until sunset, carts must be in by 5:45, so be carful if you have a late tee time….
course is very dry and greens are in terrible condition
In desperate need of watering.
I’m not sure if the grass grows beyond the greens. I played this course a couple years ago and it was ok.
Slow play
After 12 alot of 4 Somes walking way to slow ranger hounded us on staying on the cart path at tee box and greens. But never told people to pick up pace
Didn't finish
Tee time was 13:45 at approximately 17:25 when our foursome was on the 16th tee we were told by a course Ranger we had to head in, "carts need to be returned by 17:30." No one mentioned this when we checked in. On the back 9 we were waiting on every tee box for the group in front that had their own carts. On the way in we passed other groups that had their own carts. Apparently in by 17:30 doesn't apply to them. They can play at their own leisurely pace. We did not get our monies worth for the course or cart rental. Very disappointed.
Solid Option
Course is in great shape. Price is one of the best in the valley. Dated amenities but with great staff and atmosphere. Casual
Slow play
Good time very slow play. To many 5 sums only played 15 holes. Way to slow
Sun City Fun
Part of a foursome that walked 18 holes.
Course was a bit dry so had trouble sticking the ball on approach’s but definitely helped by adding run out on the drives. Excellent course to walk as it’s flat and the fairways are reasonably wide.
Pace of play was excellent.
Great day, lots of fun and would go back for sure. Value for the money is definitely there.
A little more water would help the greens.
Wish It Were Better
Not my first rodeo at the North Course. Such a shame the conditions are almost horrid, even after being overseeded for the snowbird season. Bare spots in the fairways are common. Where there is grass, it's some kind of strain that is very tightly cropped, leaving one's ball on a patch of green that might as well be plain dirt. Around the greens, same situation. Easy chips become skulls with no grass whatsoever under the ball. The greens, however, were okay--at best--and wicked fast.
