About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

The new owners have really turned this course arounf
I’m very impressed on how this course has turned around
I’ll be playing here every week
Overbooked and slow
The morning started with overbooked tee times, which caused tee start times 10-15 minutes late. The shape of the course is about as worse as I have ever seen it. You literally could not differentiate between the rough and most fairways. The grass, where growing was long, clumpy, patchy and in disarray. The pace of play was insanely slow, this round took over 5 hours. We did not notice the rangers doing anything about getting the pace up. We will not be back until they get the course in better shape.
Charged my credit card for a player who was sick.
Booked a tee time for 3 players, my buddy ended up getting very sick the day before the tee time. Told the staff there would only be two of us asap and they still charged me for the player they knew wouldn’t show up.
Great course. Tee boxes need cut.
Course was great for being mid August in phx! Only thing I have is tee boxes need cut a little down some of the grass was pretty tall but other than that greens were great.
Slow play
7 minute tee times resulted in super slow play. It took over 5 hours.

not beverage cart and carts restricted from parking lot, 72 years old and your expected to carry clubs half a block
No fault to the course, the greens had work done and we couldn't putt correctly. Will return in the future.
Fun Course
Fun course. Be aware there is not a starter or Ranger, so when your round starts pace of play is sporadic. There were teenagers in the group ahead of us, walking, first time playing golf. From the tee box to green it took 20 minutes. If there was someone on the course supervising, this may not have inconvenienced dozens of golfers behind them (I was lucky, and was able to pass them after the first hole)
Fine if you’re just trying to get out and swing your club
The course conditions were great in the winter , pretty poor for the summer , I can’t complain too much for the price , the carts have gps and they have a cooler on them, which is helpful . It would be nice if they would make on every hole when to turn the carts so you don’t get locked out . For the summer it’s properly priced for the green fee .
