Union Hills Golf & Country Club
About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Golfer Reviews
Not last years course.
Maybe it’s due to overseeing but the greens at Union Hills are always fast and firm, not the case on October 6.
There were also some dirt areas on the greens too.
Fairways were definitely in transition to dormancy so they get a bye on that.
Still a good day on the golf course.
Good round of golf. Course in good condition. Good value. I was a single but, they paired me with another and it was a very enjoyable round. If in the area I would play again.
Great course for the money
It’s was overall a good course, the greens could be a little nicer but overall we had fun good course to play and the pace was good, the practice greens would be better if they had cups to hit into not flags to hit at
Average at best
This course is pretty neglected. They have essentially let the parking lot go entirely, which does not provide a very welcoming start. The course itself is in okay condition but definitely leaves a lot to be desired. There are much better places to play for the price.
Established Sun City Course
I have reviewed this course before. The course layout is suitable enough, but it has slid a bit into disrepair. Drinking fountains were missing and restrooms were a bit disheveled, showing their age. The fairways were grown out, but suffering invasion of other grasses and weeds other than strict Bermuda. The greens were the best part of the course, but even they had burn patches and were running slow. I suspect the cause of the latter was the approaching overseed season. I keep returning to the course so there is value to the rounds I play here.
This place has really dropped off
Condition atrocious compared to when I played earlier in the Summer. On the front side there are MANY bunkers with grass and weeds! There were lots of burned out areas on greens which ,also, were way too slow. Lots of crabgrass everywhere including many tee boxes.
Very disappointed given that it was in much better shape a couple of months ago!
Needs an infusion of money….staff was grumbling that “the owner won’t give us any staff”. This place has good bones but needs some talc!
Great day for Golf !!
Thanks to all the staff at Union Hills for a great day. My partner and I got an early start, and were able to play at our pace, and enjoyed a very nice round of golf. The course was in very nice shape.
Good outing
Slow season so no one infront or behind we could just pick our own pace. Started ealrly so the temperature was not too hot. Greens were slow but still quite playable.
Good course
Living in the east valley I don’t typically play this far out. What a surprise course has a lot of character. Really enjoyed my time and pace of play was good.
