About
The golf course at the Union Hills Country Club is a championship course with a traditional layout. The course has been named one of the Top Ten Private Courses in Arizona. The design features four lakes and two winding creeks that create water hazards that come into play on a few holes. There are also several sand bunkers present. Some of the golf course's greens are elevated and the fairways are average sized in width. The signature hole is the par-4 14th hole, which requires a carry over water. Union Hills Country Club also has a putting green and full driving range for golfers to use.

Poor Conditions
Tee time was at 922, I was rushed to the tee at 9:05. The course conditions were not great. A fair amount of the greens were covered in sand, the fairways are mostly grass (although dying out) but the rough is weeds/dirt.
They allowed a group of 6 to go out together which slowed everything down.
Terribly disappointed
Although I enjoy the course layout and have played the course several times a year over the last 10 years, the course is in the worst condition I have ever seen. I was anxious to bring a couple friends to experience what I thought would be a great day. I spent rather whole round apologizing for the course conditions. Dried out, taken over by weeds, splotchy greens, bunkers harder than concrete . Won’t be returning. Too many good courses in the area to risk another crappy round. Sorry, but true!

Good course but poor upkeep
It appears Union Hills is in it's unconcerned stage. Fairways were nice but rough was poorly maintained. It is just bumpy grass every where. Looks like it's not being watered or mowed. Lots of unkempt areas around course, especially the tee boxes, that just made it visually unappealing which is too bad as many homes on course have been nicely upgraded and refreshed. Greens were very slow and some should have had a blower nearby so we could clean the debris off of them. The course is a great layout, challenging but very fair. Have company coming for a week but won't be visiting Union Hills any time soon.

Played on 5/7/22 as my second round of the day. Have a great time . As a single I fell into the 3sime in front of me. Had a great time
Fun place to play.
Fun course, challenging but not so tough that you won't be frustrated. Good value for rhe money. Conditions are pretty good, for the money, really good. Defiantly a good long course.

I love playing this course.
It's not a tough course, but it's not easy either. I play here once a week to stay one top of my game. Many of these holes somewhat I call target golf. If you play these course like that , you can have a good score. Good luck. Keep up the great work , people.. Thank you.
Conditions do not line up with price
I have played this course in the past and enjoyed, bu the current condition of the course is not good, especially for what they are charging. Fairways are generally in pretty good shape, but there are also large brown areas. The greens were all reasonable. The Bermuda rough is coming in with all kids clover and is not being maintained. I don’t recommend this course.
Nice golf course
Enjoyable layout for all handicaps. The greens are very slow but are in good shape and manageable. Highly recommend the brats and dogs on the turn that are fresh and very good especially with a 508!
