About
Riverview Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole facility known for its undulating greens throughout the course. If you can putt on the greens at Riverview, you can putt on any greens. The full-service snack shop on site serves breakfast, lunch and an assortment of beverages. The Pro Shop has a wide variety of clothing and accessories that are available for purchase. Riverview carries men's and women's golf shoes.

Good round on a decent course
Course layout is pretty good. Played in 4 hours which was really good. Course was in decent shape. Will definitely play again.
Challenging!
Pace of play is on and off this time of year and hard to control. I started out with 3 other players, but they only played the front nine, so the back nine had me behind a foursome that slowed me down quite a bit. The course is very nice and well maintained except the bunkers due to Covid restrictions.
I generally play executive courses because I walk. This course was twice the distance so a little more of a challenge. I chose to play from the red tees, but my SwingU app showed the Gold for Women and Red for seniors. Since I usually play red I followed suit, but may have had a better score if I had gone with my apps recommendation to play from the Gold tee box. I'm a senior and a woman and had one of the worst scores I've had recently. The Greens aren't easy, but all in all I enjoyed the course.
Better than expected
The course is in very nice shape and I recommend it highly right now.
Tougher Than the Rating & Slope Indicate
I have now played Riverview 3 times. I am a 73 year old who plays at a 13 handicap. I really like the layout of Riverview. What makes this course challenging are the angulating greens and bunker protection. If you believe Riverview is 'senior friendly' you will be in for a surprise. Unless you miss the greens middle short you will either find deep bunkers or shots that will roll well right or left from the green. There are also many holes with well placed bunkers in the fairways. The fairways are much more forgiving than the greens that's for sure. If you have never played Riverview don't rate the difficulty by the rating and slope. It plays much more challenging. Still, it's a fun course in Sun City I will continue to play.

the course is in very good shape for this time of year. Greens were very good.
Sunday Afternoon Riverview
Played in 4 hours which was really nice. Interesting greens with more slope than others. Course layout is pretty good. Check in was quick.
SLOW !!!!
The pace of play was the slowest I have ever seen. We had a fivesome in front of us and I heard they had a six some playing a few holes in front of us. 8 minute tee times separated is. They need to push it back to at least 10 and not allow five and six play together.
Great day for golf
The weather was cooperating for a great day of golf. The pace was about 4 hours, so not great but not terrible either. The greens had a lot of pock marks from golfers not fixing their ball marks. The greens were difficult to read. At first I thought it was only me, but my fellow golfers all said the same thing.
Great course and nice folks.
I golf here with my 13 and 19 year old girls. The staff is super nice. The people aren’t grumpy but helpful. We have had to let a group play through and they were ok with it.
Greens are nice as are the tees and fairways.
Really well maintained and not a hard course at all but not short.
