Riverview Golf Course is a beautiful 18-hole facility known for its undulating greens throughout the course. If you can putt on the greens at Riverview, you can putt on any greens. The full-service snack shop on site serves breakfast, lunch and an assortment of beverages. The Pro Shop has a wide variety of clothing and accessories that are available for purchase. Riverview carries men's and women's golf shoes.

I don’t understand why they play a tournament on Saturday with 5 players in groups!
The play started on hole 10 and from hole through 9 on the “back” 9 it took over 3 hours!
Contoured greens.
This course was pretty straight forward. The difficulty was the sloping greens. They weren't ridiculous, but you need to play often to get good reads. Pace of play was fine and the staff was very friendly.
Riverview at Sun City
This was my first time playing here this year. Usually the course is in good shape but it was a little on the rough side this time. The greens were ok but the fairways and areas around the greends were mowed very short and many shots were from hardpan. The greens are tricky enough to putt without having to attempt shots where it's darn near impossible to spin the approach shots. Might be better when the summer grass starts taking over from the winter rye.
Too Many 5somes, . . . . Pah-Leeeeez !
Fine layout BUT that quality is diminished by the PROLIFIC Practice of 5SOMES -& during some leauge event no less ! Waaaaat, . . . .?
So the Greens do present challenge in their undulation and the fine amount of roll-out speed. Fairways do seem nice and even the "rough" gives acceptable lies since it's dormant grass U know.
Bunkering is a strategic hazard but is in fine condition as the sand they use plays very well indeed.
As most locals know these Sun City courses offer good value for the conditions and layouts of theses tracks, will & have been back -THANKS !

WE ENJOYED THE ROUND VERY MUCH. PACE OF PLAY WAS PLEASANT. STAFF WAS WONDERFUL. FOR THE PRICE, IT'S HARD TO BEAT. SURELY WILL PLAY AGAIN REAL SOON.
Great greens!
All in all course is in great shape. Greens were quick and smooth. Very nice undulations.
Tight Lies Everywhere! inconsiderate staff
fairways are somewhat green, but the ground is hard everywhere, hard to make good contact with the ball, expect yourself to fly over the green a couple times because of this.
also we had a foursome all booked from golf now and the golf shop decided that we should take an extra "walk on player" and made us play as a 5 some, normally i wouldn't have a problem with this but there was a group of 3 in front of us and a group of 2 behind us and they decided that since we already got a "deal" on golf now that we should slow our pace of play and the pace of everyone behind us too.
First time playing this course and I will definitely be back.
Surprising
In the past I didn't like it so was pleased with the
condition now. When I played before the greens
were painted instead of over seeding, Must be
100% now..
Wide Fairways! Thank goodness!
This course is very deceiving! It took our Threesome by surprise. We played from the Blues and it gave us the Blues! Lol. Overall a real good experience and we will play it again soon to make ourselves feel better! Thank you Riverview and the friendly staff.

Too many 5-somes !!
Slow play at 4 1/2 hrs. many 5-somes even though this is a Sun City course this is the norm you never see a ranger while playing & if you complain to anyone they just shake their head & say that's the way it is !! Although on this round I did see a FIRST even for Riverview, When our 4-some got up to the 18th hole for our shot onto the green there were 8 yes EIGHT !!! players putting on the green !!! we had to wait 15 mins for the green to clear !! Golf Etiquette not on this course . next time I see this I will take a picture & share it
A nice course
The undulating greens and pin placement defines this course and can make 2 putts challenging. Also has a fair amount of bunkers. The fairways are average and it was an enjoyable afternoon, finished in 4 hours last one on the course.

Nice course, and well kept up. pace of play was just fine. It was about 58 degrees with lots of wind, still shot 87.
too slow with 5-somes allowed.
Apparently they reworked the course a couple years ago and added many traps. Too many for the type of golfer who plays there. There was a group of 5 on front of us she we were trying to finish before dark.
Play was too slow and not unusual from what I hear.
I won't be back!!
Bring your short game!
The course is in great shape and the green undulations and area around the greens demands a good short game. Bunkers in great shape.
