Grandview Golf Course at Sun City West

The golf course was in very good shape. The pace of play was outstanding. Only issue was wind and cold but that didn't stop us from having a ton of fun.

We arrived at the course about an hour before our teetime of 12:52 pm. Checked in with an old gentleman. No smiles and he went ahead to check us in. I later heard on their loudspeaker system they were calling a teetime to proceed to the first teebox and that this teetime was from an hour and 15 minutes ago. So all teetimes are delayed. I went back to the front desk and asked another male staff about the delay and with a straight face told me that yes there is a delay but no explanation why. I feel like more of a stranger or an alien instead of a customer. The person that checked us in should have told us from the beginning about the delay but no word. This really gave me a sour taste in my mouth and as an Asian, I feel being discriminated. Also, I made a reservation on Golfnow thinking everything is included but I found out the cart fee is not included so we paid an extra $32. There is no chipping area around the front and later saw a practice chipping green near the 9th hole I believe. In order to get there, you have to drive up there. Again, no info provided by the front desk. The ladies at the restaurant are nice. The good thing is the course is in great condition so I did enjoy playing there but that would be the last time unless people in the front desk can be a little friendly and accommodating.

I’ve never had an experience at any golf course like the one I just had here. For us golf is a family experience we enjoy. Today is my son’s birthday, all he wanted to do was golf with mom and dad. We were denied service and asked to leave or take him elsewhere because they don’t allow children. Both men in the pro shop were incredibly rude. Very disappointed in this facility and will no longer do business with them or any of their sister courses.

All was good except for the lack of food service. We made the turn at 2:45, tried to order a hot dog only to be told the kitchen was closed. We were not given a reason, but we love to hang out for a beer and food after our rounds, so we were extremely disappointed to find out the 19th hole was closed at 2:45 in the afternoon.

I've played here several times over the last few years and the course is always in good condition. From the tee boxes, down the fairway, and to the awesome rolling greens, it's been fun to play and medium on a scale of challenge.

Good layout, slow greens probably due to recent over seed. Golf now price did not include cart.

Had not played here for several years, but we enjoyed the course. Not a hard course as it is quite open with little trouble to get into. Wide fairways and some water holes. So if you want a fun easy day of golf it’s a great track.

Even though golf now messed up the course made it right! Super friendly staff everywhere.. from the pro shop to the coffee shop/restaurant! Course was in great shape. Just a great time!

Golf course was in great condition! The only complaint was that it was not allowing birdies.

Staff very friendly! Will enjoy playing Grandview many more times!

This is the 2nd time in 2 months that I played this course and was treated rudely by the staff. I reviewed how the attendant/starter was rude last time. Comparatively, he was very polite to the guy yesterday. Although I was 3rd in line to tee off, I drove up to the first tee because the guys whose tee time was coming up were friends of mine. As I was chatting with them, the starter, over the loudspeaker, yelled out that nobody’s supposed to go to the first tee without being called. Within seconds, he came out to tell us in person. It was about 10:55 am. I had an 11:15 tee time. As soon as he found out, he directed me to leave the tee area immediately. I told him that I was chatting with my friends and would leave in a minute. He became very belligerent and started to yell at me to leave immediately. I told him to stop yelling at me. He got very angry and told me and my friend that he’s cancelling our tee time and to come into the office to get our refund. I booked the tee time through GolfNow and he couldn’t give me a refund. So he told me to leave and get the refund from GolfNow. I countered that since he’s the one who cancelled my tee time, he’ll have to give my refund. He went to talk to his boss, who came out to us and apologized. I was so rattled that it took me couple of holes to calm down.

Plush fairways, greens medium speed got slower as afternoon moved along.
