Boulder City Municipal Golf Course

Friendly staff, nice place to golf. Have been paired up several times and have never golfed with anyone who did not enjoy the day.

Course is in good shape. Front 9 we finished in record time, even after the Marshall yelled at us to speed up. He then came back and apologized. I wish he would have came out on the second 9, it was really slow, we waited on every hole. On 13, there were 3 groups waiting.

They didn’t tell you in advance that the front 9 is closed for a year so you had to play the back 9 twice. Would have been nice to see that as an update.

The front nine was under construction for a new sprinkler system and had to play the back nine twice. I would not have played the course if I had known about the construction. No cart person for drinks. No marshal. There were two slow twosomes ahead of use that would not play as a foursome. A marshal would have helped force them to play as a foursome and keep the pace of play smooth. I only titled the review "wait to play for a few months" since I have no idea when construction will be complete.

When I booked the tee time, there was no mention that the front nine was under construction for 240 days starting in January. We're playing the back nine twice.

The golfers in front of us were extremely slow, but no one told them to speed up.

We got to the clubhouse at 3:30 pm, and everything was closed. No signage saying what time they closed.

We will likely try the course again when it isn't under construction.

Found nine holl close.

Course was in good shape. Look forward to the front 9 getting opened. Played the course over 20 years ago.

Could only play back 9. Will not be back this year

The course is a great course. The layout is fantastic and challenging.

The greens are in amazing shape.

Hot Deal taken, yet was not great at all. No mention that half the course was closed down and that I’d be playing the back nine twice. It was not that bad doing it, but paying for 18 and only getting nine was very sour to take. I won’t be paying full price to play that again.

This course did not disclose that the front 9 is closed and we had to play the back 9 twice for 18 holes. The pace of play was very slow with 3 groups waiting on the tee boxes by the time we got to the 11th hole the second time around. The group directly in front of us pulled off at that point, and our foursome quit as well. When I mentioned the slow pace of play to the starter he was very offended and informed me that we were right on pace. The condition was just okay, with fairways having intermittent weeds and bald spots. greens were in decent shape. Sand was just gravel.

The course is just perfect the greens are amazing and roll perfectly.

The staff was first class in every aspect , we will be back.

Half the course was closed and no mention of it on Golf Now when I booked it. I did not like playing the same 9 holes twice while having to wait for slow pace golfers. They could have at least discounted the green fees for the in inconvenience.

Course is under renovation, front 9 is closed and the back nine is not being taking care of at all

The course is a good muni track is good shape for the time of year (late January.) We weren’t told before we booked that our 18 would be the back twice - the front is closed for months. Had we known this, we probably would have booked elsewhere - but overall, for 9 it is a good deal.

Had a great time, well maintained course and clean facilities. Friendly and helpful staff
