Boulder City Municipal Golf Course

This was my first time playing this course but I will definitely be back. It is a nice getaway from Las Vegas but not too far of a drive. My only complaint from my visit was that the course did not offer a reduced price for recently aerated greens which were very difficult to play. 4/5 stars.

With all of the pricey golf courses in the Las Vegas area, this is a fantastic deal. The staff is very nice, and when we finished, the cart guy said "Thank you for playing with us". That's something I've never heard from anybody on the staffs of more "prestigious" courses (e.g., Reflection Bay).

The course has a very nice driving range which we used before golfing - $6 for 80 balls was a good deal. The course was nice and maintained well. Enjoyed the large spacious fairways. There were some challenging greens with rolling surfaces and false fronts. There was one group of two and a single player in front of us. The pace of play seemed to be fine until the single player joined the twosome. I’m not sure what the issue was but they got very slow and appeared to be doing a lot of talking - could have even been an argument. Lots of arm waving around and no one playing golf. They took forever to tee off on a Par 3 hole. Then they stood on the fairway and “discussed” something while we sat in the cart waiting to tee off. We finally decided to go around them and just not play that hole since they weren’t moving. At one point we noticed we were two holes ahead of them but after the front nine we never saw them again. I wish there was a way to have moved them along. I know it is a minor issue but I paid to play all 18 holes and only got to play 17. It was an extremely windy day as well but that added to the challenge nothing the course management could control.

Good intermediate course. Be sure to have a beer on the patio after your round. It’s beautiful out there.

We always try to play this course when we are in Vegas we enjoy the course, love the greens, they are always well maintained.

Course was in good condition, greens rolled nicely and were in good shape.

Unable to play due to 40 to 50 mph winds and cool weather. Called the course to cancel, they said thank-you and mentioned no one is golfing. Boulder City was very helpful in reminding and recommended I cancel with GolfNow and also offered to have GolfNow call them to confirm weather conditions. I did cancel my GolfNow reservation online. See what happens, hoping for a refund. Thanks, Boulder City Golf.

First I am not a golf snob. I understand things get backed up. But 11 holes in 3.5 hours is ridiculous. We quit after 11. Guy in golf shop was rude both before and after. Got yelled at for taking cart to car to unload clubs, didn’t see the sign. Won’t be back.

I find it hard to believe that people would rate this course as a 4 star course. Compare this course to most others in the Vegas area that are rated 4 star and you would see it's no better than a 3 star. Fairways are bumpy and lacking in grass, tees are chewed up, greens are fair. Took a long time to get a sandwich in the restaurant. Too many other nice places to play. This one is cheap..you get what you pay for.

Tees were okay but fairways were very sparse and greens rolled well but did not hold anything. Bunkers are very coarse. Good price on GolfNow but would not recommend paying more.
