About
Wolf Run Golf Club is one of south Reno's most popular courses. The course is situated amid the Sierra Foothills, tumbling across a picturesque desert landscape sprinkled with native flora. The layout has many risk-reward opportunities and the par-3 holes are especially fun. The hilly terrain is as scenic as it is challenging, providing some tricky uneven lies and there is a meandering creek that slithers along the fairways. Though it's wide open, the golf course requires a bit of accuracy and some good course management. The elevated tees offer some spectacular views as well as some intimidating approaches to the fast, undulating greens. In addition to the golf course, Wolf Run also has a practice facility with a driving range and putting and chipping greens. You can also get your clubs repaired on site.

Once a great course but not any more, much better courses to opt for.

One of the nicest courses in Reno. Course layout is put together well. Will be back again.

Good course in town
I learned at Wolf Run. Its a good in city course to play, but as most courses in Reno, it can get windy in the afternoon
I've played this course 100s of times
Excellent shape. New rough setup on a few holes that makes them more challenging and like playing them for the first time.
The course is playing dry and fast like it's meant to be based on it's layout. I've played this course hundreds of times(no exaggeration).
The greens are mostly wonderful..roll true and are fast! The course tends to get over watered and soggy at times but not right now
I will post a new review if it gets over watered and soggy because it doesn't play nearly as well that way. The greens are still WONDERFUL and super challenging ALWAYS!!
Great Course, poor tee boxes
Spectacular course with some great views. Definitely worth playing. Entire course was in really good shape except most of the tee boxes weren't flat, and they were somewhat chewed up. Only a couple of the holes were you standing flat for the tee shot.
Loved the layout. Pace of play was very good. Some tough challenging holes for beginner and intermediate golfers.
Must have just had a tournament
Wolf run is your best bang for your buck in reno. Its nice to have a quality course that actually understands a twilight round that you may not ultimately finish and prices themselves accordingly (unlike lakeridge). It was a beautiful day out there and we met a lot of awesome people out there enjoying a midweek after-work round. Greens were fast as always but rolling nicely! I must say there were quite a lot of divots on all across the greens which was quite surprising considering that this course is usually top tier in terms of conditions. They must have just had a tournament/membership night. All in all it was still a great experience and looking forward to many more mid-week rounds here!
