Snail Pace
Great day for golfing, a bit on the warm side! I went as a single, paired with another single, had a great time with him! The only problem was we were behind a foursome that consisted of two adults and two minors. They group took so long at every hole, what should have been a 3 hour 45 minute round, turned into over 5 hours after it was all said and done! Someone ( I assumed was a marshal go by our group twice and even though we waved him down to mention something about the ever increasing backup behind us, never even looked our way! He had to have seen the log gam behind us but did nothing about it! Very frustrating to say the least! Aside from that, everything else went well
GREAT EXPRIENCE AND ROUND
COURSE WELL RUN AND COURSE LOOKS GREAT
FRIENDLY SERVICE ACROSS THE BOARD
Agonizing slow pace!
Course is fairly nice(except for patches of dirt on a few fairways), but the pace of the play was very frustrating to say the least! Aside from the snail pace, turned out to be a decent round!
Well kept course
I've played this course many times and each time I'm amazed at how well kept the course is. Compared to other similar priced courses in the Bay Area, Los Lagos is a level above in terms of course maintenance. The greens are fast and tough to read but are manicured immaculately. Most of the fairways are in pretty good shape except a few dirt patches here and there.
Despite having par 3s, this course is challenging and makes you really think about club selection. Will definitely return again and again.
Most interesting of the SJ munis
Its hard to consider it an executive course because the holes are all full length but the are very few par 4’s and extra par 3’s. I call it a scoring course because every hole is gettable. The conditions were pretty good for a muni, greens rolled true even if a bit slow. The biggest issue they have is the fairways on the par 5’s can be pretty bare at some points. If they can figure that out I’d give it 5-stars for a muni. I dont think their otr green fee is great but the hot deal is well worth it. The setting of the course is great considering it’s right in the middle of the city but a few unhoused people live around there with some pets. Lots of foxes!!
Pace and conditions
I am a big fan of LLGC. But the bunkers are in horrible shape. Some half full of water. I get that. The ones that are not could at least be raked. Like hitting off of concrete.
The pace was bad Also. 4 hr and 40 minutes for the round.
Golf shop folks polite..
Great day to golf!
Los Lagos
It's in much better shape. Course looked great. Greens were fast. Man at front desk wasn't the friendliest, needs to work on his customer service. He said he was the manager, had the personality of a rock. Other than that everyone else that worked there was awesome: maintenance crew, Marshals and food person.
Don’t play here don’t waste your time
Horrible experience, at least 20 min wait per hole. Extremely backed up. I play golf every week but believe me I will never play here again
