Brickshire Golf Club

The day we played the course had just recently shifted to carts at 90 degrees. Course was still wet in places. The greens were very shaggy on the front nine, and had big bare splotches on the back nine. This course has almost no level lies after the first hole. All par threes are both uphill and long. I would not play here until the course dries out more, the front nine greens are mowed properly, and the back nine greens heal. Also, no bathrooms on the course, just port-a-potties.

Used golfnow senior Tate with three friends. All of us agreed we struck gold. The only glitch were a few greens were cancerous. But. We didn’t pay $100 per head. I’m sure they will bring these up to par with the surrounding.

Great shape considering recent weather. Greens a little long by that understandable trailing hurricane and heavy rain after that.

This is a beautiful course in great condition. The traps had plenty of sand. It was very easy to find. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable

Course is terrible. Don’t play it. Layout is nice but greens are unplayable. Not worth it if you are a halfway decent golfer

This is a great layout. Generous fairways with lots of undulation. A lot of uneven lies which makes it fun to shape approach shots. They have lost the majority of the back nine greens and should be more up front about that. Discount the rate for sure. Good staff and even with the greens, I will return soon.

This course has everything you would want in a course. Challenging angles that if struck reap rewards. Staff is beyond friendly, helpful and just actually happy to see you. Aside from one or two greens that need patch work, this course was a bargain for military members such as myself and buddy. Will definitely be coming back again to challenge the water on 18!

Best fairways I’ve played all year.

Front nine greens were great.

Back nine greens were terrible. Diseased and crab grass. Unputtable. Great course if they can fix their problems.

The course was beautiful, except for the greens in the back 9 were horri!

We. Hose this course as it was very reasonably priced compared to other courses in Williamsburg. It was a half hour drive away. All personnel and members we encountered were very nice. The course fairways were great, but numerous of the greens were in poor shape. There are quite a few blind shots, but we didn’t lose any balls as a result. The course was fair for the tees we played. It was a good value on tee off

Back 9 greens are in distress with a lot of weeds. Hard to putt. Not sure what to say about bunkers. They forgot about them. For what you have to pay I could not recommend. I have always liked playing there in the past.

They lost the back greens. Overall the fairways were in outstanding condition. Hopefully, damaged greens will be back in play by 2025. Best to the superintendent and crew. It would have be nice if the management had said something about the greens during check-in.
