What is going on??

This course was BEAUTIFUL the last time I played a couple weeks ago and now the conditions have nosedived. I’m not sure what is happening but most of the greens are in pretty bad shape. It felt like an entirely different experience.

Poor Putting Green Conditions

Almost all of the greens are in rough shape with bare spots and weeds (only a few exceptions).

They appear to be trying to make them better but doubt this is going to be fixed quickly.

Although I like the play of this course in general, I doubt I will return to play any time soon due to the poor condition of the greens.

Would not currently recommend this course to a friend.

What happened to the greens???

Played Brickshire 7 weeks ago & it was in perfect shape as it usually is. I’m not sure what has happened, but we were shocked yesterday to see that 13 of the 18 greens had been taken over with goose grass & dead spots. Hope the staff gets this turned around soon as we love playing this course.

There are way better courses for the price in the area. Greens are absolutely horrendous. Fairways are nice but grass is long. Not well maintained at all. Wouldn’t play this course for $35

Greens need some TLC

The tee boxes, fairways and bunkers were in good shape. The greens on the front were running extremely slow and on the back had a lot of crab grass and bare spots. Usually, the greens at Brickshire have been in excellent shape but not today. Hopefully this will improve with time.

Looking forward to playing there again.

DO NOT PLAY!!!!

Course is in horrible condition. The greens are unplayable. Fairways are decent but long. Restaurant closed at 3 and the bartender was super rude. Cart on the course only takes cash. Way better courses in the area. Not worth $35 buck let alone $70!! Avoid this course by all means.

Bad greens and sand traps

The greens are being overwhelmed by crab grass making putting difficult. The sand traps need to be drained of old rain water

Slow and Bad

Pace was bad !!! Just no rangers watching play …. Guys were playing so slow there was 4 groups on one hole a par 5 and the idiots holding the whole course up didn’t care …. Just kept playing!! On top of that the greens were horrible!! Course was fine … greens sucked … slow and tore up !!! Good thing we only payed half of what regular greens fees were !!!

Brickshire Golf Course Review

Loved the course. We live in the community and tried it for the first time. Going in the evening for novices like ourselves was perfect as we didn't have to feel the pressure of golfers coming up behind us quickly. We enjoyed the course, saw a few deer having dinner on the sidelines while we golfed and in general had a great time--
