The Stadium Course at PGA WEST

Great course, great layout and challenging.

Slower than usual playing pace.

Very nice course, we are playing the date close to PGA tour, the maintenance of the course is very nice. Course layout is friendly for both pros and newbies, worth of your money for sure

This course is not for the faint of heart, but what an experience. Playing it weeks before the actual PGA event and seeing the stadium seating made for a wonderfully memory. This is not an easy layout and as a golf buddy of mine said” this is a real big boy course.” Bring extra golf balls and have a blast.

Everything was perfect, course conditions, weather, pace of play, stuff...

While it's tough, it's not as difficult as I thought coming into the round. That said, we played the blue tees, not the black (tips). Course was in good shape with the PGA Tour event coming in about a month. Greens were a little inconsistent and not as quick as I thought they'd be, but still will challenge you. Have to be in the right spot. If you are striking it well, you can post a good round here. If you're a little bit off, it will frustrate you and beat you up. Making birdie at Alcatraz with the grandstands surrounding the green will be a nice memory. It will cost a good amount to play here. I'd say it's worth no more than $200 unless it's in outstanding condition. You pay for the name and the resort more than anything.

A 5:05 hour round is unacceptable. Finished the first nine in 2: 45 on track for 51/2 hours for the round! Playing the last 2 holes in the dark when starting at noon is poor. Not worth the cost of playing. Cancelled rounds at the Tournament and Greg Norman as a result since both were also at noon.
