brutal shape
Greens were like concrete with fake grass and paint
fairways.....were bald in many places
tee blocks were rough. a cheap priced course, for a good reason.
There was no grass on the course
There was very little grass on the course, not just the rough but there was very little grass on the fairways. Beechwood, which is right next to it looked in much better shape. The greens were painted green and in need of a cutting and to be rolled.
This course has huge problems
We were extremely disappointed in the condition of the fairways, the intermediate rough and some of the greens! The fairways need a lot of work to bring them into a condition whereby you are not hitting off burnt out grass, or poorly placed and tended sod. There is no such thing as first cut rough, it is all hardpan or loose sand. The course has potential, however the owner(s) seem to care little in enhancing the golfers experience, but are more focused on getting the course loaded with golfers so they can maximize their profit, and minimize their maintenance! I will never recommend this course to anyone, and I will never book a tee time here again!
Improve course
Course was in bad shape, many fairways were hard pan.
Most cart paths were horrible.
Course and greens were in terrible condition. Will not return there again. Would not recommend it to anyone.
Beat up
The course is in really poor condition from tee to green. Greens are half sand, half grass, and roughs are either hard pan or dried out grass. Apparently no watering system. Would not play again.
Decent layout for a quick round
As are many Myrtle Beach courses right now, the fairways are pretty sparse. Play winter rules and go on.
A couple problems
The course was pretty good-for spring golf. Problems popped up when we, and foursomes in front and behind us, had to sit and wait when the greens sprinklers came on while we were trying to finish our round. This was magnified by the on cart reminder that our pace of play was getting bad and then worse. VERY frustrating.
Slow
Played very slow. Was overbooked and waited every hole. The kicker was at turn they slid a group in front of us. Took 25 minutes to play 1 hole then left. Very unhappy about that. I understand slow play on a weekend. But there was no reason to put a group in like that. Also was not in good shape. Holes were not recut in some time and were very ragged. Wil not go back.
