Azalea Sands Golf Course

Course layout wasn’t great. Greens were in bad shape and so were the tees. Not a big price, but for beginners it’s a decent place to hack and wack

We were behind groups of people who thought they were Tiger Woods. Waited too long to hit their shots, not playing ready golf, etc. Back nine very slow. Not the fault of the course or staff though.

Played twice second time slower paced but still great

Course looked pretty good. Tee boxes needs some work. Greens looked great! They’re pretty quick and I like that. Staff could work on cutting the holes better. They looked rushed.

Course in horrible shape before they top dressed the greens that they didn't tell us about before we feed off seriously this is a 30 dollar course at best .The club house was fantastic BTW!!!

I have played this course several times in the past and it was reasonably priced for the fair to average conditions it usually is in. Today the back nine greens were in horrible shape. It was like playing two different nines with the speeds on the green. The back nine was chewed up and covered with sand. I paid too much for these kind of conditions. I love the lay out and normally in the past the price reflected the conditions on the course. This should have been $25 just so you could hit the ball around. I would not recommend to a friend at this time. Sorry

The staff was super friendly! The course was well laid out and the pace of play was nice and easy. The putting greens and fairways are quick. The sand traps are immaculate - white side sand. The 5 options on the tee box are perfect for newbies and pros. Great restroom layout and they were clean! No alligators to be seen but a friendly squirrel! Will definitely come back!!

Course offers challenges as there are many bunkers in the fairway along with water barriers. A definite challenge. Will return.

We had a 4some In front of us who was their 3rd time golfing. We were able to play through and it made everything a lot about.

My wife and I played this course on a Friday morning. My wife was asked by the starter if she wanted to join the twosome in front of us. She did not want to join them because she would feel pressure playing with someone else. We were allowed to play by ourselves.

We had so much fun on the course. I played from the white tees and she played from the silver tees.

The course was in good shape. There were a couple spots where the grass was discolored to white.

Greens and tee boxes were well maintained.

We completed our round and left the course with smiles on our faces.

Well done Azalea Sands. We will be back in a couple years when we come back to Myrtle Beach
