Azalea Sands Golf Course

The value for this course is ok for the conditions, however they overbook and the pace of play is terrible. Upon arrival the starter /bag drop guy was very rude. He expected everyone to already have their ticket from the pro shop (how is this possible when you are just pulling up and dropping your bag) he was yelling at everyone telling them to go inside first. He also knocked over several golf bags with no apology and no care if he damaged people’s clubs.

The pace of play is advertised at 4.5 hours. The pace of play was very slow as the course was over booked. The starter just sent groups to the tee with no direction at all on what order to start. After 4:10 minutes (about 7:00) we were on the tee of hole 16. At this point, the starter was riding backwards down the course telling people that they had to come in and the course was closing. I questioned him by asking if we would get a rain check because of the slow play due to overbooking and the fact that we were still within the 4.5 hour pace of play advertised. He actually stepped up on the tee at this point and was confrontational. I have never had such an unprofessional experience in my life at a golf course.

I have to say I like playing here....

I like the course...I like the staff..I love the fries....

They have done alot of work on this course over the last couple of years and it is starting to show..

Fairways and greens are coming in nicely..

The Golf Now app gave a great deal! The greens were in great shape. The tee boxes were a little rough. The rangers on the course were friendly. Pace of play was good!

I always enjoy golfing at Azalea Sands. I find it an enjoyable golf experience.

Was late teeing off. They had a problem earlier to start. Then they let twosomes go between foursomes and it wound up being slow.

Fairways and greens were in great shape.

Greens were extremely fast. Good course to play, pay attention to placement of water or your ball will be with the fishes!! .

Okay Golf Course.

Had a 1:22pm tee time. very slow play. No Marshall's to speed up play. Saw golf cart girl twice on front nine. Not a peep on back nine. Club house was closed when we got in.

Maybe beach house its sister course that is next door will be better.

A very busy day plus a bachelor group outing led to back ups on every hole. The super fast greens led to more 4&5 puts. The fairways were so dry compared to the adjoining course

Very dry conditions. Greens were fast but passe of play was slow due to number of players.

I always enjoy playing at Azalea Sands. I look forward to my next opportunity to play.

Greens are in good shape but fairways were dormant.

Group in front beginners , waited every hole Greens rough shape Fairways, no green grass anywhere. Not very pleased and will not be returning..
