Course was in great shape, greens were smooth and well kept, fairways were a little wet but in good shape overall
Great Public Course for the Cost
Well maintained; excellent course for more expensive courses South down route 17.
Very Nice Experience
We love playing Beachwood whenever we're in Myrtle Beach.
Tree lined and well kept up. Just a very nice layout. Only minor nit would be the greens were beautifully manicured but very slow.
Pro shop crew were top notch, too.
Would definitely recommend this course.

Course in good shape, great greens, very accommodating staff, good range. Very good value for price
Very enjoyable course
We enjoyed our round at Beachwood. The conditions. There were some worn patches but a slight roll for the ball put you back on a playable surface. We could see that they are preparing for the winter season with overseeding in process. I finished with the same ball I started with, so that's a victory for me!
Coops review
The course was in good condition and fair. We selected it for the price.
The only negative was an extremely slow foursome in front of us.
Tee times were so delayed we weren’t able to finish our round
Our tee time was delayed over 45 minutes. They said it was due to a slow group in the morning. I don’t see how slow play on the course impacted our tee time. We were unable to get 18 holes in before dark. Although they gave us a rain check, it is very limited as to when it can be used and certainly is not for 1/2 of what we paid.
Really disappointed in the experience.
Pleasant Pace for Vacation Golf
We enjoyed our round at Beachwood. We started on time, the course was in very good shape—and the greens were in excellent shape too.
The pace of play was perfect and the marshals kept an eye on the pace but never needed to press folks.
The facilities were perfect for a care free day..
Good Price; Good Course!
First time playing this course. Good value for the money paid for mid-morning tee time. Only course played this time in Myrtle Beach area for this one week trip. Great WX day & enjoyed playing there. Bogey+ golfer.
Fairway Grass Problems
Overall course was in good shape, greens good, but fairway grass was spotty in many places.
Better options ecosy
Nothing special, 1st time B playing, ho-hum layout, course showed a lot of wear and tear
