Needs work
Have played here years ago, it was once again a mess. The first time due to lack of care, this time due to "a work in progress." This course shows promise, given some tender loving care and some financial backing it can be a user friendly course, especially for seniors. Greens were rough as they had been verta-cut, but hey held. Fairways were the same but easy to hit off. Good size greens and fairways. Alot of dormant grass, but to be expected in MB in October. I would be willing to try this layout next summer or spring to see if they are serious about improving the conditions.

Stay away
Greens in ok shape rest of the course is horrible!

Fair Course - Poor Pace of Play
I will acknowledge that this is an affordable course that we played on Friday during fall golf trip season but the pace of play was not good. Front nine took 2:45. When we finished up there were four foursomes waiting to tee off on hole #10. Fairways were in decent shape and greens were fair but had some junk in them. The staff was pretty friendly and clubhouse was clean.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Typical older golf course.
Many areas need attention but still fun to play. No ranger…5.5 hour round. Still fun day.

I would play again
My review shows poor course conditions but it was due to a hurricane hitting the area 2 weeks ago.

Overall management of the facility has slipped since I’ve prior played Beachwood
Multiple facets of the course and operations were not up to the prior standard at Beachwood or other courses I play. Running behind, slow play and other aspects were the result I’d be happy to discuss this should there be interest in detailed observations.
I play >250 rounds a year and have played 15 different courses in the last month alone so I can make a comparison.
I just gave another course a ‘5+ all around’ rating.

Nice layout
The course was in good shape but there was some leftover storm debris from Ian. Greens were just sanded so putting was a bit difficult. Over all, it’s a nice course for a fair price. Thanks!
