Pleasant but slow
This course is always busy and tends to result in slow play.. It was tolerable at 4-1/2 hours for eighteen holes Fortunately we were paired with two golfers who made the round enjoyable despite some unnecessary waiting.

Beechwood has always been a good good challenge for this 17 HC, and is a very good price.

Not Again
A goat track. If you enjoy playing a course 40 years past it’s prime with the sound of Myrtle beach traffic in your backswing you have found your course. It’s tired, it’s worn out and the fact that it has a decent rating on this app is beyond laughable. I it doesn’t even have working bathrooms in the clubhouse. Gotta use portajohns in the parking lot. This is a no go zone.

Nice course
I only played the front nine because I drove 5 hours to get there and only had time for nine. Layout was good and I would play again staff very friendly

Better than expected.
The surprises started before the first tee. The practice green was smooth and fast. That ended up being the courses main defense. Breaks and grain were tricky to read making putting very interesting. The layout was pretty straightforward with few surprises. The par threes and fives are beefy. The bunkers were in good condition. Mid Dec, and the grass was still green and growing. If you've never been, I would tell you to go to Beechwood.

Good Tract
Straight forward course. If you want to have fun, this is the place. Not tricked up with a lot of sand and water. You won't lose balls easily. Wide fairways. Greens were very good for this time of year! Great value, too.
