best price to practice your irons
wow best place to practice irons also great place to hit range balls .
Great for beginners and those wanting to practice for cheap.
This is a very small college course that is great for practice. It is a easy, the condition of the greens is not too good, but the surrounding area is peaceful, beautiful and very, very low key.
Okay
The course is very small. Good for a fast round of golf. The greens need some work. Great value for the money. It gives you a chance to practice on your short game.
Great quick course for the rate
The greens are kept very nice. The fairways are clean of debris. The course is usually wide open and play is very fast. This is a great place to brush up on skills if you are tired of just hitting balls on the range. It is almost hill free though so if you want to practice that, then this is not the place for you.
Good for practice
Not a course for a seasoned golfer, but ok for use beginners, great place to practice the game. Needs up keep.
Good place to learn or practice
The course is located at Gavilan College and the cost to play is not expensive. The course is not difficult and a 9 hole round on weekdays is typically 1.75 to 2.25 hours. The only negative is the fairways are full of daisys often making it difficult to locate your ball.
Course has improved over time
Jennifer is very courteous and friendly!!! I enjoy golfing here cause it is convenient by my home and a wonderful view of the hills!
Great local gem.
Huge value, especially going through golfnow.com! Played a great game and crushed hole nine with a 192 yard hit leaving me a yard to the green. Great course and friendly employees.
Great setting against the foothills.
Great course for the money, ten dollars gets you 18holes and a bucket of practice balls. That's cheaper than going to another bad movie... My only complaint is the greens are not perfect a little bumpy but playable. You can bring your kids and teach them how to play, without breaking the bank. The staff is always willing to help you also.
Good course for seniors, newer players
This is basically a par 3 course but is a little different because it has holes that are 365, 225 and 180 yards long which allows you to use a driver.
Beginning players will not be intimidated. I have brought a 60 year old beginner as well as my 8 and 10 year old grandkids.
Fun, variety of shots, course needs some attention
Decent course, some challenges, fairways were soggy and the greens just aerated without any sand so bumpy & slow as heck tee boxes not very nice. That said great price for 18 holes, good scenery, had a good time just being on the course. With some more attention course would be great, but as is the weather has been wet lately and it is off season. I would go play course again.
I would go again
Course could use a littlw more TLC. We played on the weekend and were surprised that thye were cutting the grass in between iur shots.
Deal of the century
For $3 you can't beat it
Fairways were decent
Greens were a little better
Nice round if you play from the back tees
