A muddy mess
Tee'd off early on a Saturday so we were unimpeded for pace of play. The course was a muddy mess on the front 9. Standing water in the fairway in many place. The back nine was better, but there were a few soggy holes on the back side.
Because they can't mow in many places due to so much water, I lost a few balls on good shots that were just off the fairway.
It looks like a fun course to play in drier conditions, and I'll likely try again in the summer. But at this time, it was a mess and not worth the price I paid.
Not in good condition
Challenging layout, slow pace and its soaking wet and really muddy! I actually like the layout of this course, if you want to challenge your game. But I will wait for the summer time to come back and play again in this course. Its soaking wet and crazy muddy! And please, please! Clean all the restroom! Its pretty nasty and smells horrible!
Over 5 Hour Round
Over 5 hour round. Marshall told us the play was slow but did little or nothing to improve it.
Great place to have lunch and play
Expect to spend your whole day as the pace of play is bad but the course is a solid challenging layout with nice restaurant brewery
Course is always too wet
The track and layout is great! The course is always very wet and muddy. Even before the winter storm the course always seem over-watered.
Poor Value.
Cause is really in poor shap.e. 14th hole was set as a 200T’s par 5. (Were not told till we started.)
$85 is a bit too high for a course in such poor shape.
Nice Conditions Considering the Recent Rainfall
Following a full week after the long stretch of rainfall, this course was in better condition than I expected. Sure, there were still areas in the fairway with standing water, but all the tee boxes and putting greens were pretty dry. For those who haven’t played this course, it offers a variety of holes - the 4th with its (half) island green as one of the more interesting ones. I found all of the staff to be very friendly, and the assorted beers on tap are an added bonus.🍻
