Staff and Club House are Great. Good Food, Good Beverages. The course is in poor condition Beat up tee boxes and some of the fairways and greens need some TLC.
To reiterate the Staff and Club House are Great, worth going for the food and drinks, But hard to recommend the course for play.
New Year’s Day
Challenging course. Newer golf carts with GPS. Nice greens. Scenic. Bring your A game or a couple extra balls.
Great food and craft beers. Highly recommended
A soggy course
This course is very bad after previous rain, maybe the drainage system was clogged.
I don’t like to play this course again
Great design. Neglected and abused
Played Canyon Lakes on wonderful sunny and bright days. Views incredible. Unfortunately a great designed being compromised by neglect and abuse. Nothing in any decent conditions except possibly greens although many bare spots and fungus. Staff appears indifferent and unknowing.
I used to hate this course…
But I gave it a mulligan and it paid off! Course is in much better shape than before. This was going in to play after a 5 day storm too. I called up a golf course down the road and the had 2 hour frost delays, not here! Staff at the desk is super friendly too! Great overall experience!
Good value
Course was in fairly good condition, greens were great. Excellent pace of play. Friendly in the pro shop and brewery!

Don’t order food from your cart
First off I’d like to say it was a nice course and fun to play , but unfortunately our experience with getting a bite to eat on the turn was a bit of a nightmare.
Let me explain. We got carts because it was 90 degrees and thought it was really convenient that we could order food from our carts on the 8th tee (assuming it’s really after 9th hole) 4 BLT’s sounds easy enough, mind you that it takes 3-4 steps to order each sandwich and also have to go to a checkout button and confirm that order and it should be sent in and we just pay at pickup $58 . Not the case . Get to pickup and the staff tells they thought it was a mistake or a joke order and then lies and says they tried calling me to confirm I really ordered food for my group when I pull out my phone to show them that they never called they proceeded to tell me it will be up in 2 minutes. . Cut to 30 minutes later and we finally get our food. Nothing is right but alas there was no body around to say anything to about it and we were too hungry and too behind on our game to do anything about it so we just decided to not play here again unfortunately because it was a fun course.
