Canyon Lakes Golf Course & Brewery

Course was waterlogged everywhere. Its crazy to charge almost $100 for a soggy mess. Every fairway was full of mud. Bunkers either hard sand or full of water. Greens were inconsistently fast and slow. Getting harassed by the course marshal for pace of play when we were jammed up behind people because the starter had us all start before our tee times so we were stacked on top of each other. Overall not worth the money. Play somewhere else.

Have not found a better course in the area for under $100. Going the in the afternoon is $36 with a cart which is much cheaper then everywhere nearby. The course is difficult but has a very exciting layout. Easily my go to course.

Several groups playing extremely slow with one group chasing geese in their cart. No Marshall to be found restaurants barclosed early 4pm.

Greens are in desperate need of care, soft bumpy spongee throughout the entire course. Rough is deep , repairs going on in sand traps, other sand traps are hard with little sand.

In the past this iwas a fun course to play but with all the issues I do not recommend playing here until its back to normal and Marshall is on the course

Course was great the slow play was brutal the 4some in front was delayed by the 4some in front of them and in the heat it was brutal. Thought it was gonna get better but the second nine was just brutal and the 3 some behind us all got tired of waiting and left

We played at a twilight teetime for a very low price and the course was worth every bit of it. Of course there are bare and burnt spots due to the season and some of the teeboxes could use some leveling. But overall, the layout is great with amazing sunset views on the last few holes and the memorable 4th hole. The course is quite short, but with narrow landing areas on a few holes and long distances in between holes. Cart recommended.

Play was a bit slow but still bearable.

The food and beer in the restaurant after the round was great with very helpful and kind service by the staff. The prices here are also very fair! Overall a great experience. Recommended!

This course is mostly a pleasure to play. Mostly because the 14th hole is a huge challenge. The course was in fine condition, although the sand traps were very compacted. Great course visually!

Overall a fun track with a great layout but ran into a lot of muddy areas even though the weather had been dry and warm

This golf course is a great value. I feel lucky To have a golf course, so close to home with such a great value and wonderful layout.

I had a 1:20 tee time on a Sunday. Once the round began, we had no waiting at all, on a perfect day. The course is pretty challenging. There are some tight fairways that probably necessitate putting that driver away. The course is beautiful. It sits up high in the hills. It reminds of places in the Sierra Nevada foothills like Dark Horse. I honestly couldn't believe I was in San Ramon. One criticism though is that, while the greens are in good shape, the tee boxes and certain fairway areas are pretty beat up currently.
