Don’t order food from your cart

First off I’d like to say it was a nice course and fun to play , but unfortunately our experience with getting a bite to eat on the turn was a bit of a nightmare.

Let me explain. We got carts because it was 90 degrees and thought it was really convenient that we could order food from our carts on the 8th tee (assuming it’s really after 9th hole) 4 BLT’s sounds easy enough, mind you that it takes 3-4 steps to order each sandwich and also have to go to a checkout button and confirm that order and it should be sent in and we just pay at pickup $58 . Not the case . Get to pickup and the staff tells they thought it was a mistake or a joke order and then lies and says they tried calling me to confirm I really ordered food for my group when I pull out my phone to show them that they never called they proceeded to tell me it will be up in 2 minutes. . Cut to 30 minutes later and we finally get our food. Nothing is right but alas there was no body around to say anything to about it and we were too hungry and too behind on our game to do anything about it so we just decided to not play here again unfortunately because it was a fun course.

More dead spots than grass

This course is very tight and requires precise driving. The greens are decent, but the areas around the greens have no grass. Lots of dirt patches. Expensive course for the conditions.

Save your money! Dont play here!

Dont waste your money here. Ive played here multiple times over the last couple of years and its always the same crappy course. Each time I play it I'm extremely dissapointed and tell myself never again.

The entire course is a mud pit. It doesnt matter what time of year you play here, you will plug and lose your ball all over the course. There is standing water in many places and some really long grass they cant even cut because of all the mud.

The bunkers are absolutely awful. Every one is a different consistency and most are not sand but a dirt skin. Many are also flodded or a muddy mess due to the overwatering.

Even with all the water, there are still many barren patches throughout the course. We started moving our balls to the closest decent patch of grass because we got tired of hitting off dirt in the middle of the fairways.

The pace of play starts out fine but quickly disolves by the first par 3. They do a decent job of spreading you out to start, but after the 3rd hole we had 2 groups on each box the rest of our round. Made for a very long round.

The greens are absolutely horendous. Unfortunately, they are just like the practice green. You will bump and jump your way to the hole every putt.

You will not find a flat tee box on the course. Every box is sloped and has no sod. Most boxes are barren dirt in which they spread a ton of sand over the top.

The cost to play here is absolutely ridiculous for what you get. My round was $65 and that is still overpriced for the quality of course you get. Today i see they are charging over $90 for this slop. Go play Bridges next door. Its cheaper and the course is so much better managed.

SAVE YOUR MONEY! DONT PLAY HERE!

Poor greens and overall condition

The overall condition of the golf course, including the fairways and some of the greens, is poor. This makes me reluctant to return.

Bring a shoe pick

Everytime I play here, my shoes get caked with mud and goose droppings and it's impossible to get off during the round. Makes it hard to play well if you're slipping and sliding when you swing. All the shoe cleaners are covered and ineffective. The greens are in bad shape. No one fixes their divots and there's multicolor greens with weeds and dry patches. Makes for very unpredictable putting.

The staff is friendly and the pace of play is fine. Golf carts are equipped with GPS so you can tell where the group ahead is. The course layout is fun and fairways are good.

Greens are Almost Non Playable

I only play here a few times a year at the most. I played 2-3 months ago and the conditions were ok so tried again. This time the greens were really really bad to the point why even bother putting. Slow, sponge, bare spots. Not sure what happened!!! I play many courses around the East Bay and some greens are better than others and I am OK with that. But the greens here need help badly!!!!

Poorly maintained

This course has so much potential but it's not in good shape. It's overwatered, and I stepped in a very muddy patch that required me to scrape mud off my shoes for a long time. Bunkers had standing water in them. Also the marshall was unable to move pace of play along, I quit after 15 holes because it was 4 1/2 hours at that point and I was fed up with waiting.
