Maderas Golf Club

This was my fourth time playing here. Every time has been extremely enjoyable. I guess my only gripe is the pace of play does goes over 4 1/2 hours if you get out after noon. Otherwise, greens, fairways, bunkers are all in tremendous shape. But I will be back.

Great staff, great course, great pace, great value when you get an afternoon twilight rate. Under $150, take it and you won’t be disappointed.

Maderas is a fantastic course in great condition (give or take some rough patches on the greens) with super helpful and friendly staff. I’ve played here a few times over the last 5 years. However, after Jeff (the starter) kindly paired me up with a husband and wife couple so as to avoid me playing on my own, they unceremoniously dumped me after 4 holes leaving me to play on my own for the rest of the round. It was certainly nothing that I’d done wrong, and suffice to say, it totally spoilt my experience. I ended up racing round instead of taking in the scenery and beauty of this great track. I’d recommend this place to anyone, but on this occasion I was left totally disappointed and regretting signing up to play that afternoon (not the fault of any one at Madera).

We were the second group out on 9/3 and played in 31/2 hours. Course was in great shape and staff was awesome. This is a must play.

First time playing there, and probably my best experience I've had playing golf. The staff takes care of you right away in the parkinglot takes your bag, check in to this big nice pro shop with more great staff. Then your off to your cart all setup with your bag waiting for you. Can't wait to go back. The course kicked my butt, greens are in great condition buncha undulating false fronts. Nice water features and a cool hidden tee box.

From great course conditions, excellent rangers with pace of play, free driving range balls, to nice amenities and a friendly staff I had a great experience yesterday. Not cheap ($185 at 11:30am) I felt that I received a good value.
