Maderas Golf Club

With our reduced afternoon rate, this was the best value of 6 courses we played in southern California. This canyon course is scenic, well maintained and has multiple tee boxes to accommodate many skill levels. Many of the holes have significant elevation changes providing additional opportunities for modifying your normal approach shots. Greens were smooth and true. Fairways were in good shape and the rough was not too penal but added challenge.

For someone who was afraid of the triple digit pricing and wasn’t sure if i wanted to try it for the extremely high cost

my first experience with the golf club was incredible I was walking up and the cart people took my bags from me in the middle of the lot and told me where to check in once i checked in my cart and bag were ready for me just a few steps away I also was unaware that range balls were included In the tee cost which was sick it’s all you can hit they just have bins with loads of balls out there ready for you

The marshal was cool he asked if I’ve ever played there I said no and he told me how to approach the hole not once but a few times while running into us throughout the course the course was beautiful and very hilly

The staff was incredibly friendly I was greeted and asked if I needed anything by literally every employee that passed me it was crazy

Also the cart guy Luke is a real one s/o to that guy I left my $700 Prada glasses in the cart and completely forgot about them and he ran me down in the parking lot to return them I gave him to cash for being honest and returning them I plan on playing there more often

This was my second round at Maderas. I took their bronze membership and plan to play the course more frequently. It is clearly a cut above other SD courses I’ve played. The layout is exceptional and the greens are devilishly difficult. It is appropriately pricey. Manicured!

Visiting from the Sunflower State, this canyon course provided lots of challenge with blind shots, deep bunkers and side slopes. I think the greenskeeper must have had a bad nights sleep because many of the pins were near the edges of the greens. If you love to play the contours and have good imagination when putting, this course should give you plenty of fun.

Really nice track. First time playing it. Was super fun beautiful views. Greens and fairways in good shape. Beautiful views all around. All of the staff were super polite welcoming and nice! Overall one of my favorite places I’ve played around San Diego. I play pretty often and to have the pace of play be super smooth was so refreshing. 10/10 staff really made the experience great.

First time playing this course and was not disappointed. Staff was great, condition of all aspects of the course were excellent. A little pricier than I usually pay for golf but I believe all in all this course is worth it.

First time playing and from checking in to finishing the whole experience was fantastic. Beautiful views challenging course,greens rolled true. just a fantastic troon managed course everything you would want and more.

The course itself is gorgeous. From driving up, to walking in the clubhouse, to views of the 18th green from the restaurant, it’s and outstanding layout and design.

My only complaints were around pace of play, and the way the Marshalls handled the situation. We had two run ins with Marshalls that were totally misguided and out of line, as well as a maintenance member that was rude and impatient.

9:20 tee off, got off 18 at 2:45, and shot an 88. Waited on every shot on the front 9 and first 3 holes of the back before it opened up.

Maderas is in great condition, staff super friendly.

One of the more challenging courses we have played in SoCal. Easy to loose balls. Hope to play again staying in the fairway more.

First rate experience. Staff treated us like royalty. Carts pulled up, bags taken care of. Course is challenging but beautiful. Highly recommend.
