About
Set in the heart of the Grand Strand's Lowcountry plantation area, Indigo Creek is laid out through large oaks and flowing creeks, especially the back nine, though the views have been somewhat spoiled by housing. The course is built over an old rice and indigo plantation with some nice elevation changes, lakes, waste bunkers and undulating greens. It's a Willard Byrd design, with Bermuda greens and a slope rating of 128.
Indigo Creek is another of those Myrtle Beach-area courses that fell into a disreputable state only to be saved by a new ownership group. One golfer who'd had a bad experience there described it after the refurbishment as the best-conditioned course in Myrtle Beach.
Indigo Creek isn't overly long at 6,744 yards (the shortest of its four sets of tees shortens to 5,921. It is an exciting course with an significant number of doglegs, bunkers and water. The back nine is set among giant oaks and gently flowing creeks.

Good track
Horrible weather and not crowded today, was aloud to walk do to cart path only so thank you . Nothing worse then cart path only. The course was wet but after 1 inch of rain last night it still was in very good shape.

Good pace.
Good value for your money. Teed off at noon and done by 3:30. Nice layout with water and sand. Condition wise it’s not as nice as some of the other courses but you’re not paying top price either. Staff was very friendly. Would recommend.

Badly in need of a ranger
Great staff course is in need of a little tlc
Pace of play is awful badly in need of a ranger or better tee time placements.
We apologize for the pace of play issue during your round. This is by no means the standard we strive to achieve. We work hard to accommodate everyone who visits our course and to best control pace allowing everyone to finish in a reasonable amount of time. We will continue to look for ways to improve. Enjoyed myself
Good value for the money. Course dried out nicely. I played early in the golf season but the course was in very playable condition. I will be back.

Good coarse for the money
Good coarse to play. Greens are in good shape for this time of year. Have had a lot of rain in the past month. Someone said 12 inches last week thus cart path only as fairways were very wet. That slowed the pace of play. Still enjoyed the course.

Course was nice
Golf course was cart path only due to the excessive rainfall recently. It was still very playable and in good shape for early in the season. I would play it again.
