Scholl Canyon Golf & Tennis Club

Course is fun and pretty for the price. Staff is exceptionally friendly. Only downsides are they pack the tee times so you always have people right in front and behind you and you usually end up having to wait at most tee boxes. Also there are no par 5s.

This is a fun course, but a bit challenging at spots since it’s built on top of a mountain (or landfill to be specific). Good value for money

Staff is great good chief for that breakfast burrito. Pace is ok backs up a little. Greens were fast but in good condition. Over all good value for your money

The starter was great keeping good pace on tee times.

Love this course. Some easy holes and then there are some really challenging ones #13. Lots of Coyotes walking around, very cool. The staff are friendly. A lot of the golf carts seem to have low power by noon. Overall, this course is a great par 60.

I booked a tee time for Xmas day. Two events occurred that would not allowed me to golf. 1 of my 3 golf buddies tested positive for Covid. So I thought I’d be in everyone’s best interest to cancel. Which is where things go south. I looked into the cancellation period. I called the golf course and I was advised that they couldn’t cancel the tee time and that I should go through the third party app. Unfortunately hours later, my father passed away from a heart attack.

I still managed to call the course before my tee at 6am. Again staff said that I would not be charged and to notify golfnow, third party app.. It was Xmas day, golf now was closed.

A day later I got a hold of golf now. I was told I would not be charged, my tee time was canceled and the course was notified. Yet I was still charged $100 for being a no show. An email was sent to me explaining how inflexible they are and how they don’t care about the golfers emergencies. Given the current pandemics; I figured the staff at this course would understand.

Fairly challenging course. Would absolutely recommend to a friend and come back

we showed up an hour early to warm up and the range was closed until the afternoon. luckily they were able to get us our immediately so we didnt have to stand around for an hour. they were having some issues with the carts. ours died we saw an abandoned one out there and i saw they were pushing one in. do not walk if you plan on playing the back 9 unless you feel like getting in a good hike. overall the course was great and the staff wad friendly. we had a blast and will definitely come back.

First of all I just want to put it out there, these are the hardest greens I’ve ever played in my entire life. They’re fast or slow but most importantly they’re not in the best condition. I don’t want to waste your time so I’m just going to sum it up; it’s basically a par 3 18 hole that’s in very poor condition. The people were nice and the staff was good but it’s not a place I would recommend. If you really want to challenge yourself then sure play this.

Tee boxes were a bit uneven, but other than that pretty fun and challenging short course on the back 9. Some of the par 3’s tee boxes are pulled way up making them real real short, but the greens are fun and roll pretty well even with a lot of divot marks.

T boxes were uneven and had holes and no flat area, bunkers were rocks and muddy clay, fairways were dry and thin with dirt patches, overall a mess, greens were good and can’t beat the views.

This is a great hidden treasure in the hills of Glendale. The course is challenging and in great shape!
