About
Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon offers two 18-hole championship courses, the Legends and the Champions. Nestled in the foothills of the San Gorgoncio and San Jacinto Mountains, both courses have a scenic landscape that offers stunning views. The Legends Course is the newer of the two but it provides just as challenging a game as the Champions, which is a PGA Tour favorite. The Legends twists and turns through the winding elevations, demanding accuracy throughout. Like its sister golf course, there are numerous steep-lipped bunkers treacherously placed along the greensides. The rough is also tall, thick, and unforgiving. The tricky par-3 fourth hole is played from the highest point on the property. From the tee, the canyon seems more intimidating but the wildly sloped green is where the challenge begins.

Rain and hail
The Legends course is in excellent condition although the greens are a bit slow. Grass outside the fairways is long and ball in the fairway is a must. Rain and hail made the course more challenging, but a lot of fun.
The course is challenging but fun.
Great deal for a Sunday after 1pm, course is in great shape although some of the bunkers were hard and in need of sand. The foursome in front of us slowed the pace of play otherwise we had a great time.
Wish the restaurant or snack bar was open during the week
Always fun
Always try and play the legends side today we did Champions just to hard for 16 handicap with a short 200 yard drive....Legends side has maybe two hard holes for the short driver (white tees) #2 and #11 otherwise 200 yards gives you a fair shot at par and a few shortish par 4's even a birdie....Champions was in good shape but I do not like shooting 91 just because of the need for 240 or more yards off tees. Yes we did try moving up to the red tees after #10 but it was still hard, long hitters Champions is still a challenge (back nine and #5 and #6). My foursome has a saying love the Legends, why do we even try the Champions....

- Much improved fairway & rough conditions
- Greens w/consistent speed/excellent condition
- Pro shop could use more staff at busy ✓in times
- Pace of play very much improved

Beautiful
Played as a solo on a Monday. Beautiful greens, beautiful fairways, beautiful price. Only took me 3 hours to play. Shot an 83 and that's okay with me. I'll definitely be back.
Good day/ course better than last time.
The course was in great shape. Fairways were green and great today, well watered, little roll. Rough was grown out a little, which made it tough to hit out of especially close to greens Greens were good but inconsistent from green to green, first and last few greens fast and hard, middle holes seemed little more receptive and slower. Sand bunkers still hard and crunchy sand. Layout is good running through the hills and Valleys with many blind drives and a few approach shots if in wrong spot which makes it interesting. Still doing alot of construction around course. Pace of play was great today/ 3hr round, only one other group and they let us play through.
Still no 19th tee!
Sorry, had I know there would be no option for refreshments after the round I would have golfed elsewhere!
Beautiful course
This was an awesome course to play I played the legends course because I was told it's the easier of the two. It had some easy holes and some very challenging holes as well. As far as the course it is extremely well taken care of. My only issue is the amount of people backed up. Took me 5 hours to get 18 holes in.
