Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon offers two 18-hole championship courses, the Legends and the Champions. Nestled in the foothills of the San Gorgoncio and San Jacinto Mountains, both courses have a scenic landscape that offers stunning views. The Legends Course is the newer of the two but it provides just as challenging a game as the Champions, which is a PGA Tour favorite. The Legends twists and turns through the winding elevations, demanding accuracy throughout. Like its sister golf course, there are numerous steep-lipped bunkers treacherously placed along the greensides. The rough is also tall, thick, and unforgiving. The tricky par-3 fourth hole is played from the highest point on the property. From the tee, the canyon seems more intimidating but the wildly sloped green is where the challenge begins.

Tough track on record hot day. Cart person came by just once but we teed off at 115 It was 105 degrees but it was fun with towels on neck

Nice course!
Second time playing here. Greens are fast and are deceiving. Greens roll left or right or to the front or back. Lots of hills. Pick your battle, but gotta leave your putt within 2-3 feet of the flag to par.

Fantastic shape
Played the Legends today and it was on top condition. The greens were in the best shape that I have experienced in over a year as were the fairways. The bunkers were as usual decomposed granite but were manicured. Tee boxes were good as far as well manicured but as usual very in level. Pace of play was great at 4 hours.
