Morongo Golf Club at Tukwet Canyon offers two 18-hole championship courses, the Legends and the Champions. Nestled in the foothills of the San Gorgoncio and San Jacinto Mountains, both courses have a scenic landscape that offers stunning views. The Legends Course is the newer of the two but it provides just as challenging a game as the Champions, which is a PGA Tour favorite. The Legends twists and turns through the winding elevations, demanding accuracy throughout. Like its sister golf course, there are numerous steep-lipped bunkers treacherously placed along the greensides. The rough is also tall, thick, and unforgiving. The tricky par-3 fourth hole is played from the highest point on the property. From the tee, the canyon seems more intimidating but the wildly sloped green is where the challenge begins.

Punched greens.

Heads up since they decided to not give an aerification alert. Played today. Sand on the greens and plugs removed. Still charging full price. Not happy. This has always been one of my go to courses.

Obviously more worried about the money rather than their customers.

The price has gone up and the conditions are worse since covid. Hope it gets back to it’s better days.

Found this place with an awesome rate on Golf Now plus the discount made it even better,.

Super friendly people in the Pro Shop, Cart Barn & Starter well done with these folks they know how to engage with guests & make the trip special.

Course looks great, plays great & was tough around the greens, did have a couple of balls almost disappear in the thick rough. Course does need to get some weeds pulled & gopher holes filled but was great at the price I paid today. I would say pack some snacks if you play the Legends side since it does not return to the clubhouse until the end.

Overall had a great day with 3 great people visiting from Tahoe.
